The goal in therapy is to create a compassionate and trusting space for clients to get through difficult periods in their lives and support healing. I work towards empowering clients with new tools to break old cycles and to help change what is not working in their lives. To begin counseling, clients describe goals and needs. Then we work together to create a new model of living integrating the Holistic Model of treating the mind, body and spirit as a whole.
Attending to a clients inner work is sometimes difficult to schedule into their busy lives or if illness/injury occurs. I offer phone or Skype counseling for those clients unable to make it into my office. At this time, insurance does cover this type of therapy.
