My goal as a clinician is to assist you with making life affirming choices that lead to a healthier lifestyle. Often times, people have experienced negative life experiences that block a person's natural processing abilities. By using EMDR Therapy, we can reprocess those negative life experiences and allow the natural process of healing to take place, resulting in the reduction of suffering and symptoms.

We all have those times in our lives when things get out of balance. Our goal is to help our clients return to that sense of balance and happiness that may be missing. We offer a variety of therapies and programs to help people achieve balance emotionally, physically and even spiritually. We provide individual, group and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. Although, our model is varied we utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help people change their perceptions and learn skills to better manage their emotions and lives to return to a sense of balance.

My ideal clients come to therapy with a deep desire to know and understand him/herself better. They are looking for a collaborative effort in gaining this understanding and are motivated to work outside of the office to achieve the desired result.

Sometimes the first step is the most difficult one to take. I offer a safe, calm, non-judgmental space for clients to be seen, heard, and to explore their struggles. I have over 20 years experience in the field of social work, working with diverse populations. I am licensed in Mississippi and Tennessee. I have experience working with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, chronic illness and loss of independence, infertility, adoption, divorce recovery, autism, adhd, suicide of a loved one, grief and loss, insecure attachment styles, trauma, and child abuse/neglect.
