I have over 20 years of clinical work experience with adolescents, young adults, adults and families, I approach clients with a sense of compassion and genuine curiosity about their lives. In treatment, I encourage clients to share their stories and challenges, define their goals, learn new skills and build upon their strengths. Therapy is a discovery of learning to live more authentically in the world.
I use trauma informed treament modalities which include psychodynamic, relational, strengths-based and cognitive-behavioral. Each client's individual needs are assessed and their participation in developing treatment goals is encouraged. I believe people have a greater capacity for insight and change when they take part in their treatment planning.
