There are times in everyone's life when we may feel overwhelmed, have exhausted our own coping skills, or need guidance around the situations we may encounter in daily living. I work with people experiencing mood disturbances, life transitions, grief, crisis and ongoing challenges for adults, elderly and older adolescents. My approach is strength based with a cognitive behavioral framework. I will work with you to set goals, gain insight and overcome obstacles with new perspectives.
I have worked in the Berkshires as a therapist since 1996 in several settings including the hospital, community mental health and the criminal justice arena. I have also provided in-home sessions with the elderly and home bound.
I currently take the following insurances; Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts Commercial Insurance, United Health Care, Health New England, Medicare, Harvard Pilgrim. I also see people on a sliding scale for self pay.
