I have been a psychotherapist for over 30 years. I strive to create a safe place for you to explore and successfully address the challenges you bring to therapy. I specialize in treating trauma (chronic or recent). I am a certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Trauma is not necessarily a specific event, it can be the environment you breathed. I also work with depression, anxiety, hopeless grief, and communication issues.
I have extensive experience in the field of trauma, energy psychology (Psych-K, Neuro- Emotional Technique, Heartspeak, TNT and EMDR). I have found these techniques to be very effective to help people move through troubling issues, intrusive thoughts, flashbacks and emotional triggers.
I've worked with a wide variety of clients and have substantial experience providing support to people from many backgrounds with a wide variety of concerns. I can help you be the person you want to be by helping you to see what's in your way. I find energy work invaluable to processing issues, but talk therapy and relationship building is where it starts.
