Do you want to find ways to relieve both the physical and mental aspects of your anxiety? Or is your child struggling with regulating their emotions which is effecting learning or relationships? My therapeutic studio is designed to learn mind/body awareness techniques, to engage in sensory motor activities or to feel supported in a therapeutic swing. Evidence based body oriented techniques and verbal psychotherapy are blended to treat your whole being. Parents can also learn essential skills through cognitive behavioral techniques and nonverbal attunement skills.
I have worked with children, families and adults for 28 years in outpatient, residential, hospital and school settings. I am additionally trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma Focused- CBT, Sensory Motor Affect Regulation Treatment, Incredible Years: A Positive Approach to Parenting, and Ways of Seeing: Embodied Infant and Child Mental Health.
