We begin from where you are, knowing that healing happens from the inside out. It helps to have help with this! It takes guts to trust a new person with intimate issues. Comfort with your therapist is necessary. Thank you for considering me as that ally. I create a safe environment to explore important and often uncomfortable life issues. This can help unburden you to move forward into a more satisfying, fulfilling, and happy life.
I work with intuition, creativity, and sensitivity to the body's deepest wisdom. If you are stuck in words that feel repetitive, it may be time to use some new modalities, like expressive therapy, energy medicine, and deep listening to explore yourself in a safe and connected therapeutic relationship.
In addition to listening to the body as a source of trustworthy wisdom, we may use expressive therapies to invite the creative voice of the unconscious to be heard. Dreamwork, role play, sand tray, and movement are among the modalities available to us. I also practice spiritual direction.

Authentic Movement
We will practice moving and witnessing in a deeply embodied, safe, and compassionate way. Julie will guide you in listening to your bodies to create a kinder and freer relationship to inner sensation and play. Use of art and writing will enhance the experience of movement exploration. No experience necessary in any of the arts, just a willingness to play and to wonder. We will begin meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 4:30-6:30. Call Julie for more info and the Boston Center for Contemplative Practice at 617-435-6641. Please join us!
