My goal as a counselor is to help you find total health in your life using a holistic approach. Emotional, mental, and spiritual health are all equally important components of your total health. I work hard to provide a safe space where you feel comfortable processing your emotions and where you will find motivation to grow. My specialties include substance abuse disorders, codependency issues, developing healthy boundaries, and trauma-related issues. I utilize a variety of therapies including EMDR, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based solutions.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 30 years, and life long resident of Mobile, I remain committed to serving our community by fostering growth and healing with those seeking individual and marriage therapy services.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and as a counselor, it's my passion to come alongside individuals who seek to deepen their self-awareness and cultivate healthier long-lasting relationships. A foundational belief I hold is that we are created for relationships, and those relationships can shape or break us. With that being said, I believe the sacred relationship between client and therapist has the ability to offer profound opportunities for both healing and transformation. My primary goal in treatment is to make sure every person walks away from session feeling seen, heard, and felt.

ALL of us (Especially Todays Veterans) have had Experiences or been in Circumstances that can cause over-whelming Emotional Problems: Nightmares, Feelings of Impending Doom, Intense Nervousness and Depression which can leave us feeling out of control... Counseling is a good first step to begin to heal. I offer Assessment and Counseling to address: Personal - Family - Marital 'Life's' Issues and 'Veteran's' Issues (Primarily those that resulted in 'PTSD.'). I will help and encourage you in telling your 'story'. 'Living in-to the events' that caused your distress is essential for you to be able to move on.

This world is a broken place, and all of us are affected by that brokenness. Often, we seek to escape or cover the pain by pretending we don't hurt and looking to relationships and addictive behaviors to cope. As we avoid what's really happening inside, we can find ourselves struggling with depression, anxiety, and many other mental health issues. I look forward to working with clients who are hoping for a deeper level of healing and who are ready to do the courageous work of facing the truth about their story and how it has affected them.

Every story is unique, but one thing we share is a need for help. Asking for help may be the hardest part, but this crossroad is where change can happen. This belief is why I am passionate for people who find themselves in a fog, a downward spiral, holding deep wounds, at their wits end, or hiding behind shame. My goal is to provide a gracious place to process, build awareness, and offer a redemptive reframe that sheds light on all of life.
