Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique in which clinicians make suggestions to individuals who have undergone a procedure designed to relax them and focus their minds - American Psychological Association. Hypnosis is not a treatment modality accepted by insurance companies but it pairs nicely with many other allowed modalities.
