Human beings live within relationships. These connections are at the center of our lives, and yet they can be so complicated. I help clients understand and heal the past wounds that are activated in the present and improve the relationships which matter most, including the relationship with themselves. Through a collaborative approach clients gain meaning of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while moving towards goals and healing. My approach includes evidence-based practices and strength-based skill building, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with a healthy dose of warmth and humor.
I'm intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which teaches skills to manage emotions, ways of being, and relationships through a foundation of mindfulness. Additionally I'm Level 1 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) which integrates well with all modalities and offers a self-healing past wounds and traumas in a most compassionate way.
