It is my intention to assist a client in expanding their understanding of their situation, others and themselves. Being "mindful" is more than a slogan; learning to be with things as they are or make changes adds greatly to well-being.
Post-graduate training included two years of family therapy including a specialty in working with couples. I have more than thirty years experience working with issues related to depression and anxiety as well as changing unwanted behavior.
I believe that all humans are endeavoring to achieve or regain happiness, well-being and peace of mind. I consider myself to have a spiritual nature. Most clients appreciate my sense of humor and a willingness to offer an opinion or reflection on what they bring to our conversation.
