About
I have worked as an elementary school counselor for 15 years. I am a licensed professional counselor and provide play therapy and adolescent counseling. I love building relationships with children! My primary goal is to bolster social skills, support clients’ emotional well-being, and empower them to feel confident. As an LPC, I have been very successful in helping children and adolescents meet personal goals. Client behaviors at home and at school have improved and relationships with peers, family and teachers have been restored. I have partnered with hundreds of parents and have helped my clients feel happy and safe.
My office is located in Lakewood, and I offer 50 minute counseling sessions for individuals and small groups. I also teach workshops for up to 8-10 children/adolescents. I try to make therapy fun! My clients typically beg to return. I have worked extensively in play therapy, grief counseling, anxiety, depression, and many other areas children and teens face.
I have a deep love for helping others. I am a mom, educator, professional counselor and mentor. I would love to help you or your child. I know we are all trying our best, and at times, need additional support to make the most of our lives.
