I love to help people ask ‘the big questions’—Who am I? How can I be my best self in the world? What is my purpose? What will my legacy be? These questions arise in times of transition such as graduation from college, choosing a career, in mid-life, at retirement, or when contemplating our mortality. Some people have spent years in a religious or spiritual community whose beliefs or practices they can no longer support. Some have trauma due to these experiences and benefit from having a witness and guide as they learn to choose their own values and priorities.
I work with young, middle-aged, and older adults. I help you take a larger perspective, healing from the past, exploring your purpose, and drawing on your strengths. But if you are in emotional pain right now, we’ll use CBT strategies and somatic skills from a trauma-informed approach to help you feel better before going deeper.
