When we create, we heal. When we heal, we create. In therapy, the goal of our relationship is not to merely tell a good story, but a true story: to collaborate, help you discover more of your fullest and most authentic self, and start living it out. Oftentimes hurt, trauma, and/or harm will destroy our imaginations for a flourishing future. In a creative therapy space, we work to discover and reconnect to our imaginations, get a foot in the door to our healing, and begin the process of integration. I am committed to helping you experience restoration in your life and relationships, so you may live out your most flourishing story.
I utilize imagination, art, and creativity to help build safety and trust as we explore. While I am not here as an expert or leader on what you "should" do on your journey, I often say I am more like a traveling companion or empathetic guide. I follow your lead as we explore the map of your mind and relationships, and I support with curiosity and reflection.
I work with individuals, couples, and families of all types. Voicing the nuances of your story, including your goals, needs, and challenges, can be daunting, I know - and I would love to listen. I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to see if working together is a good fit. If you are interested, please reach out - I hope to hear from you.
