Greetings! I am Greg McNeil, a Ph.D. candidate, Life Coach, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over 17 years of professional experience in New Mexico. I view the decision to enter therapy as a uniquely transformative experience with powerful implications for our lives. Support and Understanding for Adults 40 +. We provide emotional support and counseling to adults experiencing challenging life transitions. You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, gain insight into your feelings and apply concepts of positive aging which improve your overall health, happiness and coping skills. We offer Humanistic Neuro Linguistic Psychology. It is coaching to help you realize you have the ability to change your thoughts, language, values, memories, beliefs and attitudes which then changes your behavior. It can result in meaningful personal shifts that enable you to reach your goals and dreams.

As a psychotherapist and Life Coach I am trained in clinical social work as well as in exercise physiology. I understand how the mind, body and emotions are interconnected. When we are physically attuned, we are able to access deeper parts of ourselves. These deeper parts may be limiting due to old beliefs, negative behavior patterns, confusing emotions, and often times a combination of all three. Also, I bring to my clinical practice over 28 years experience in fitness and coaching team sports. Together we can work to set and achieve clear, obtainable life goals.

My practice is centered on helping athletes, coaches and their families navigate mental health and performance issues. I approach counseling from a guiding perspective. You hold the answers you're looking for, but sometimes there are things blocking us from being able to tap into these answers. Together we work on navigating these issues and finding clarity, peace, and healing. Some of my hobbies are: snowboarding, fishing, camping, spending time with my family, and jiu jitsu!

My approach involves the use of our presence in nature to find resilience, intuition, ingenuity, along with mindfulness. There may be some life coaching plus cognitive behavioral therapy and art expression.
