Between Us Associates Is a outpatient behavioral health practice that offers collaborative, goal-oriented therapeutic solutions and support services to help our clients overcome a variety of life's challenges. Utilizing an Integrated Approach, our treatment team draws on experience in both individual counseling and couples and family therapy to assist our clients in finding healthy solutions to a wide range of life challenges.

I like to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere when you come to my office. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a relaxed feeling as if you were at home in your living room. I see people for individual, couples/marital, and family therapy. I treat anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger management, and life stage transitions such as high school/college graduation, retirement, and early exit from the workforce due to disability. My work hours are M-F from 12-8 pm, 7 pm is my last appointment time of the day. Please note, I do not see children under the age of 13.

Throughout our lives, we all need someone to listen and help guide us. Life provides us many significant successes and challenges and it is easy to feel overwhelmed. We all need to know, and sometimes to be reminded, that we are all worthy of happiness, respect, compassion and love. I specialize in treating individuals 18 or older with depression, grief and loss, chronic illness, generalized anxiety, and trauma. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ( EMDR) mindfulness, guided imagery, and other supportive therapies to assist with symptom management.

I am a trauma informed life coach with a background in extensive nursing experience over 20 years. I have been trained in the psychotherapy of brainspotting. This therapy has been used with 911 victims and the Sandy Hook School shooting community to bring healing to those who have suffered from deep emotional trauma. it is also effective in treating: anxiety, depression, focus issues, trauma, performance anxiety, phobias, OCD, eating disorders, and addictions. I have extensive experience in this therapy and typically see results within 4 sessions. Most levels of struggle drop by half at that point.

****I do not currently have any available appointment times for after school or evening hours.** I am accepting new clients for daytime hours time, either in-office or virtual. I specialize in working with school-aged children, tweens and teens. I also have a great deal of experiencing working with emergency responder's and their families, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, 911 dispatchers, and correctional officers.

I am passionate about working with individuals with chronic stress, anxiety, self-doubt, burn out, and relationship difficulties. My clients are often experiencing major life shifts/changes. They are people pleasers, caregivers, helpers and highly sensitive individuals who want to improve how they feel but have trouble prioritizing themselves. They want to uncover the hidden version of their best self and are ready to build confidence, practice self-compassion, improve their relationships and put their needs first.

I find that unmanaged stress is the root cause of many mental health disorders. My work with clients includes helping them to identify triggers, understand their stress and find ways to balance the mind, body and spirit by building a daily self-care practice that includes mental, physical, emotional and spiritual practices. I use a variety of techniques depending on the age and needs of my client. I work primarily with teens, young adults, and adult women.

I have been in the mental health field since 2009. I work with adolescents, teenagers, and adults, specializing in anxiety disorders, OCD, and depression. With a background as Associate Clinical Director in a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers with anxiety and OCD, I am extensively trained in Exposure Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), and Dialectic Behavior Therapy.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in both NH and Mass. I have worked with children, adolescents, and families for more than 30 years in many different settings including public and independent schools, colleges, hospitals, and private and group practice. I have much experience working with adults, children, and adolescents in outpatient settings, and I understand schools and the myriad issues that can arise in schools. I am a thoughtful, warm professional with a good sense of humor. My approach is solution-focused and I integrate various treatment modalities, tailoring my approach to meet the individual needs of my clients.

At Gray Matters, we help clients reach their emotional wellness goals using a variety of modalities. Meeting clients where they are, we offer single, short-term, long-term, and maintenance sessions through coaching, counseling, psychotherapy, consultation, and mediation. This is not a place to merely 'vent' about problems. Here, clients are active participants in identifying issues and taking the necessary steps to resolve those issues both during and in-between sessions.
