"Liminality" refers to the middle stage of change, the threshhold between what was, and what is yet to be. It is when, and where, we are forced by circumstance or choice to leave behind what is familiar, and to journey into a place of uncertainty. It is a normal part of being human. I named my practice Liminal Therapy to honor the process of change and human resilience. My clients are adults (18+) and include people with ADHD and related anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, addictions, and issues related to the stressors of life stages and transitions. Diversity and multicultural wisdom traditions are welcome and appreciated.

I work with children of all ages, families, parents, and female adults who are seeking to better manage life. My clients come to me seeking support to manage stress, anxiety, ADHD and ASD. I work with families of young children to build emotion regulation skills and anxiety management skills. I work with teens on navigating the stress of high school and college prep. I work with parents on how to co-parent in ways that are supportive of their unique child. And I work with female adult clients who are looking for support to juggle their many responsibilities and find joy simultaneously.

As a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with 30 years experience, I've worked in hospitals, clinics, guidance centers, courts, and on psychiatric emergency teams. I have advanced training in eating disorders&depression and have consulted to the community on issues of ADHD, obesity,alcoholism, grief,parenting, geriatric care and trained graduate students from area colleges in short/ long term psychotherapy. The foundation of my training is psychodynamic.
