Certified in trauma informed care, Dea has experience working with persons who have a history of domestic and/or childhood abuse. She also works with persons dealing with life transitions, self-exploration, depression, and anxiety. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought/behavior patterns, but also uses aspects of action based and emotional regulation therapy to help clients gain self-acceptance, mindfulness, and other coping skills to successfully navigate their lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 13+ years experience in this field specifically but 30 years of experience with the arts and how to incorporate creativity into our healing.
