I consistently have been most successful with individuals who struggle with self esteem. They are wanting to make changes in their lives but do not know what to do first or have the skills and tools they need to make these changes.

My style of therapy utilizes an eclectic approach to personalize and tailor the therapy to your needs. I help individuals and couples recognize and build on strengths to attain growth and help facilitate change to enrich your life.

I work primarily with adolescents and adults. I have experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem and codependency issues, boundaries, grief, and phase of life adjustments. I use an integrative and individualized approach aimed at improving the quality of life of my clients by helping them find balance, learn coping skills, rediscover choice, decrease suffering, heal body image issues, increase self-esteem and create a life worth living. I recently became a certified SYMBIS facilitator. My hope is to work with couples before their wedding day helping them prepare for marriage!

I have experience providing individual and group counseling, as well as completing psycho-educational evaluations. I use a person-centered approach, utilizing cognitive behavior strategies, solution based techniques, yoga, and mindfulness. I am certified in providing parenting support and Yoga for ages 4 through 19. My areas of focus are ADHD coaching for various ages and working with children and adolescents to improve self-esteem, behaviors, and life skills. I believe that a person can improve their overall quality of life by adjusting their perception, as well as how to communicate their emotions in a healthy way.

My name is Tameka McFarland. I treat individuals, couples who are dating, planning to get married, currently married, or are considering divorce. I will treat emotional concerns that are affecting intimacy between a client and their partner. I provide support to families who have concerns about parenting. I will see any client ages 16 and up of all ethnicities and sexual orientations. My ideal client would be a couple or family, however, when seeing individuals, I encourage that the client bring another support person that they trust to their sessions. I also provide life coaching services. Telehealth services are also offered.
