I am a certified sex therapist working with all aspects of sexual health including folks within the LGBTQ population. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment that focuses on sex positivity. I believe in equality and a person's right to choose their path. I walk beside my clients to help them achieve their goals at their pace while being outcome focused and action oriented. Clients working with me will experience compassion, accountability, empathy and partnership in the therapeutic relationship. Sexual health issues can be difficult to discuss so it is important to choose a therapist well versed in the subject.
I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology from Modern Sex Therapy Institutes and I am certified through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). I provide supervision for LLMSW therapists and I am a supervisor-in-training for AASECT sex therapists under Dr. Joe Kort. Contact me for more information and supervision fees.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities based on the needs of my clients. CBT, Trauma-focused CBT, Emotion-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, somatic sex therapy and solution-focused therapy are all a part of my person-centered approach.
