We solely see first responders, ER staff, and veterans at the FRWC. Being a former Chicago Police Officer for 13 years, I understand the unique needs of first responders and developed the center to help those who protect us. We see first responders due to trauma, crisis, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, job-related stress, suicide, etc. We also understand how there are concerns about engaging in therapy services and protecting your job. We ensure that you will have privacy and confidentiality. We have a separate entrance and exit to maintain confidentiality.

I work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families who struggle with issues of anxiety, depression, confidence, and interpersonal relationships. The number one aspect of successful treatment is a strong/trusting relationship. I connect with clients through sports metaphors, movies, real life scenarios, and getting to understand their interests. Everyone has a story so I believe it is important to include family during phases of treatment, to best understand the client's story. In addition, I believe the family is a necessary part of the therapy team, therefore family members are included in phases of treatment to ultimately help my client reach their goals.

I specialize in working with students and adults (18-60+) who struggle with addiction, developmental trauma, anxiety, depression, career concerns, relationship struggles, dating concerns, perfectionism, family of origin issues, work/life balance, difficulties in communication, process addictions (workaholism, spending, shopping, internet usage), women who experience anxiety around pregnancy, parenting, and life transitions. I believe in integrating a healthy lifestyle and holistic approach to my therapeutic work while helping clients find their own unique interests to foster a sense of well-being within their lives.

Through deep awareness, compassion, and commitment to those with whom I work, my approach to therapy is creative, collaborative, and integrative, allowing a client-centered style with therapeutic interventions uniquely crafted to suit each client. Through a warm and open presence, I create a safe and caring environment helping clients feel comfortable, connected, and understood. This fosters a true relationship between the client and the self, a key empowering component in helping clients connect more deeply with themselves and others.

I am currently a LSW and PsyD Clinical Psychology Doctoral Candidate. I obtained my Masters in social work at Fordham University in New York and I am pursuing my doctorate at California Southern University. I am excited to be working with a team of highly skilled Therapists. I believe that therapy is about creating a space of healing and helping others evolve into the best version of themselves.Along, with counseling we are now offering TMS (Non-medication approach) to our schaumburg location.

Our life's work is helping clients achieve a better sense of self and happiness...more recently we've recognized that without good mental health providers, finding this balance in life can be more difficult and stressful. As a result, we tend toward an Integrative approach and help our clients transform into the people they want to be. We see each client as an individual with many parts to their identity. Utilizing a holistic and systemic approach we help clients reintegrate the parts of themselves to function better as individuals and within their systems. Our focus tends toward a systems based approach using behavior methods.

We work with clients of all ages and stages who bring a variety of issues to their therapy sessions. reSourced founder, Sarah Falk is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work and 20 years experience in mental health.  Her passion is to support therapists with the belief that nurtured therapists provide excellent therapeutic services.

Good Day! My name is Christopher Legan and I have been practicing as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for the last 20 years. I have worked with children, elderly and adults with issues including anxiety, depression, coping skills, stress, and many more. My approach is an integrative style with proficiencies in CBT, DBT, Rational Emotive, Gestalt, Person-Centered, among others, and I listen and understand your situation(s) to help reduce the symptoms of emotional distress and make our existence more meaningful.
