Everyone has struggles at times in their lives. As a licensed therapist of more than 23 years I have worked with many clients who need guidance, support, and a safe environment to move past these difficult life transitions. I address issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and grief, as well as assisting people in their spiritual growth from a Mind, Thought, and Consciousness perspective.

Every day we all make choices about what we do or don't do. Each of these choices, no matter how big or small will affect the results that we get in life which therefore influences how fulfilled or unfulfilled we go on to feel. Life coaching helps to identify your core values (what's really important to you) which in turn enables you to make wiser choices and ultimately create a more effective, balanced and fulfilling life. The Life Coaching process examines what is going on in your life right now by unpacking your obstacles and/or challenges and formulating a strategic plan of action to help YOU achieve the things that you want!

My goals in practicing psychology are to help you narrow your focus, set strong goals, and deal more practically with life’s barriers. This can be an intimidating process, which is why I use humor - with a dash of hope - as essential tools. I am skilled in individual and family interventions, executive and consultative coaching, and therapeutic strategies including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused therapies. My experience in medical and rehabilitation settings, including private and veterans hospitals, helped me hone these skills for work with clients from all walks of life.

I am privileged to work with those struggling with life issues. I work with chronic mental and addictive issues, couples issues, and coaching life skills. Helping to reset unchallenged life boundaries; assisting in the development of your unique and wonderful self. I view therapy as a journey through another's life; helping rescript coping skills so they can become the person they want to be, attain goals never imagined. It is my mission to provide an environment allowing personal safety so they can explore possibilities and decide what changes they want to make to enrich their lives.

Often it's not what happens in our lives, but the ways that we abandon ourselves to survive it that causes the most pain. Healing is the journey home to yourself- even if you've never been there before. It is a combination of discovering, remembering, and creating yourself and your life simultaneously; and only you get to decide how that looks.
