I specialize in children, teens, young adults and parenting, with 20 years of experience counseling this population. Issues addressed include: behavior issues, anxiety and depression, school issues, family issues (including separated, divorced and blended families), self-esteem, peer issues, weight & eating issues including emotional eating, stress eating and binge eating, special needs, and clients living with chronic medical conditions. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy, positive psychology, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and others. Counseling tailored to clients' needs.

Many people resort to "quick fixes" when feeling lonely, anxious, or depressed, instead of addressing the root cause of the pain and discomfort. While I specialize in issues related to children and adolescents, my training has also prepared me to work with adults, both individually or in couples/family treatment. I have also provided services to the geriatric population for the past 7 years.
