I have over 30 years' experience as a clinician, published researcher and educator. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Masters in Health Psychology. I have developed programs including Stress Management, Insomnia control and Meditation for programs such as Kaiser Permanente. This diversity of experience, allows me to help people understand their thinking processes, identify patterns of behavior and make sustainable changes. I strive to empower people to change both their behaviors and beliefs to allow them to achieve overall well-being and happiness. Michelle Hider, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), specializes in working with adolescents and adults who present with addiction, anxiety, mood disturbances, PTS, and self-injurous behaviors. She's a trained Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Hakomi, IFS, and breathwork therapist who integrates strength-based, existential, and culturally sensitive modalities to help people heal and thrive. She supports goals clients identify and believes connection, loving presence, and community are an integral part of healing and recovery. Her main focus is to meet clients where they are by supporting changes they are ready to make.

My enthusiasm for recovery motivates me to create new opportunities for growth & healing for clients through Interventions. I have extensive experience with all aspects of Addiction and Codependency. I'm competent in individual, couples, family or group therapy. My background in mental health creates a good fit for identifying issues and safety concerns. I'm honored to share in my clients' journey toward the fulfilling lives they deserve.
