She has 17 years of experience in working with young children and families, and Adults. She is a huge believer of using many different expressive interventions in therapy, which include art, movement, yoga and mindfulness. I am Precious, I work specifically with women who grapple with the aftermath of past traumas, battling symptoms of depression and anxiety. I understand the struggles of forging and sustaining connections as a result of trauma, navigating the complexities of motherhood, and coping with unhealthy attachments in relationships, often relying on societal constructs to shape one's identity. I am an EMDR and yoga trained psychotherapist specializing in guiding women through the challenges of anxiety and depression stemming from trauma, motherhood, relationships, and codependency.

I was once told, "Everyone has problems, but those who are successful in life are the ones who got help." I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with a Masters degree from the University of North Texas. I truly enjoy helping others find personal success and healing. Prior to being in private practice, I spent four years as a counselor at Grapevine Valley Hope, a residential chemical dependency treatment center, helping adults begin to overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol. My personal style is down-to-earth, non-judgmental & accepting but also direct.

I am passionate about the impact of addiction and trauma on individuals and families, and specialize in helping those struggling with chronic relapse, especially when the traditional treatment models (30 days in residential rehab, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient) haven't helped in the past. The goal of therapy is to achieve sobriety, but more importantly to heal the relationships of the harms caused by years of addictive behavior. My aim is to make your counseling experience as fulfilling and meaningful as possible by creating a customized treatment plan that leads to real, tangible results.
