I have over 12 years of experience in the field. Areas I like to address include, past trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, relationships, eating disorders, personality disorders, self-esteem, bullying, social awareness, and parenting support among other issues. I have extensive training in therapeutic approaches with children and adolescents including art therapy and play-based approaches, however I enjoy working with all age groups.
My goal is to prioritize relationship as I believe this is the most important factor in facilitating change. I provide a warm, inviting space where individuals feel accepted and heard. I use a cognitive-behavioral approach in addition to guided imagery, psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
I believe that everyone possesses an abundance of gifts and strengths. Sometimes unfortunate circumstances can cloud our ability to identify these within ourselves.
