I am a PhD Psychologist, musician, and professional coach. Clients in my practice are diverse and have come to coaching for improvements in a range of areas in their life. Dealing with the 21st century, typically, people tend to want to see results fast. For instance, for a cold, we usually take Dayquil or a drug that is similar to get rid of the cold symptoms quickly, so the cold does not get in the way of our day to day living. By incorporating gestalt methods into balancing a person's self, it satisfies the need to see results fast by focusing on "the here and now" and what oneself can do right now in the present to try and achieve balance. By seeking counseling, there is no magic wand or pill that can "cure us."
