Now offering Equine-assisted psychotherapy! Life's journey is full of detours, bumps, and obstacles. Seeking guidance allows for support through these challenging times. Peaceful Paws Therapy integrates counseling guidance along with the support and interaction of my therapy partners- dogs, horses, fainting goats, guinea pigs and alpacas. There is a body of research supporting animals in therapy to enhance physical, emotional, and social well being, and we strive to do just that.
Play is our natural language. Through play, we express ourselves and experiences in a non-threatening way. Play therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy provide a unique opportunity to integrate animals in the context of play therapy. My training includes play therapy, animal assisted play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma informed approaches.
Peaceful Paws Therapy offers services for children, adolescents, and adults. Together we will seek to identify your personal strengths and empower a happier, healthier life.
