If you are navigating midlife, later life, or end-of-life, I am here to support you in finding meaning, calm, & vitality. Women, are you drowning in the long list of perimenopause symptoms you had no idea about? If you had the maelstrom under control, what would this chapter of you look like? Could it actually be the sacred initiation and time of deconditioning and expansion it was meant to be? Are you grieving & feel alone? Or are you ready to gently, bravely dive in to heal emotional & behavioral patterns w/ supported psychedelic medicine work, creative arts therapy, or mind-body therapy w/ a seasoned, nurturing therapist?

Feeling disconnected, overwhelmed by anxiety, or constantly out of sync because of neurodivergence can make life feel meaningless and lonely. You may notice an overly active mind, intense sensitivity, or that relationships and daily tasks feel harder than they should. There is hope, and change is possible with the right support. I help people process the lasting effects of trauma, manage worry and attention differences, and reclaim daily ease and connection. Together, we will explore what gets in the way and build practical, personalized ways forward.

My passion is to work with clients to lessen the impact of minority stress, especially those who identify with LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, neurodivergence, cultural minorities, BDSM, kink, and sex work. As a queer and non-binary person, I enjoy working with individuals, relationships (polyamorous, ENM, monogamous, platonic, etc.), families, and other clinicians. I provide a judgment-free space that is sex-positive and welcoming to many topics where shame and guilt might be present.

Not fitting in may be the most universal experience. Many of us know what it’s like to feel unseen, misunderstood, or weighed down by blame and shame—often turning that weight inward in cycles we don’t have to carry. Therapy offers space to soften judgment, explore the choices that shaped your path, and rediscover meaning in even the hardest moments. Pain is often tied to the places we’ve outgrown. In relationships, our deepest hopes often collide with our deepest disappointments. Expectations about love, care, and fairness aren’t always met. When one person carries more of the weight or old hurts remain unspoken—grief takes root.

I work with clients who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, self-defeating patterns, hypervigilance, substance misuse, or complicated grief. You may just want the suffering to stop, or for a sense of safety and relief. Or maybe you need someone to listen and sit with you in how heavy it feels. If you're navigating trauma, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, or substance misuse, I invite you to reach out. If you’re looking for a steady, compassionate therapist who understands how heavy it can feel, I would be honored to sit with you.

The need for belonging—within ourselves, our relationships, and our communities—is a fundamental human experience we all deserve. Yet, in our search for belonging, we can sometimes feel stuck, rigid, or constrained. I hold this belief close to heart as I foster an inclusive space for individuals, couples, and families to feel seen, valued, and empowered in discovering a deeper sense of belonging within themselves and their relationships. Together, we identify patterns underlying relational conflict, process emotions, and harness strengths to cultivate new ways of giving and receiving love.

Have you always felt different from others, but weren’t exactly sure why? The societal pressure to hide your true self can feel so pervasive that the phrase “just be yourself!” has lost most significance. It can be incredibly disheartening to feel as if something is “wrong” with you for feeling emotions intensely. We all have a meaningful story to tell, and I believe in fostering a warm, affirming, and non-judgmental environment for people to discover themselves and question what it means to be human. I love helping others find their voice, explore their identity, unpack shame, and manage the overwhelm of life.

You’re someone who has been relying on changing your body to change your life, overthinking every thought or feeling you have, fearing that if you don’t get in control that you will fall apart at any second. And even after all this time and effort, you still find yourself unable to find relief, feeling frustrated for not feeling different, despite trying everything. But you’re here because something has got to give. You’re ready to try something new to finally heal your relationship with yourself, your body, and food. Most importantly, you’re ready to find hope, lasting relief, and leave chaos behind. I want to help you get there.

Secular and Non-Religious Therapists
What is a secular and non religious approach in therapy?
Secular or non-religious therapy is a theoretical orientation used by many therapists and describes a therapeutic approach that does not rely on any specific religious or faith-based beliefs in the therapeutic process. Secular counselors will often approach therapy with an emphasis on evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients, instead of relying on religious practices, such as prayer or belief in God.

Is secular therapy primarily for non-religious people?
Both religious and non-religious individuals can benefit from secular therapy. People exploring their religious or spiritual beliefs may find it especially useful to work with a secular therapist who is unbiased toward any specific religion. While religious individuals might value the connection and familiarity of seeing a counselor who shares their beliefs, secular counseling can offer them the chance to develop coping skills independent of their religious practice, which can be beneficial in various aspects of their lives.

Can a secular approach to therapy help with religious trauma?
One major reason clients may seek a secular therapist is to process previous religious experiences, including religious trauma. Secular therapists can help clients manage symptoms of the trauma through practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). They can also encourage clients through talk therapy or psychodynamic approaches to explore the roots of their religious trauma. Since secular therapists do not have any predetermined religious beliefs, they can be particularly helpful for clients looking to explore their own religious beliefs following a history of religious trauma.

What does non religious marriage and premarital counseling involve?
Marriage and premarital counseling typically involves a couple meeting with a therapist to discuss topics such as planning for marriage, navigating a new marriage, addressing relationship challenges, and developing better communication and conflict resolution skills. Non-religious therapists assist couples in achieving these goals without adhering to specific religious beliefs or frameworks, often emphasizing inclusivity and non-judgment, especially for "nontraditional" couples. However, seeking couples therapy from a non-religious counselor does not mean religious topics are off-limits. In fact, non-religious couples from different religious backgrounds may benefit from a secular therapist who remains neutral toward the beliefs of each partner.
