I use EMDR for stuck trauma memories, IFS to meet your inner parts without judgment, and clinical hypnosis for change talk therapy can't force.
Hi, I'm Tyler. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, dissociation, and gender-affirming care — especially folks who've spent years holding it all together and are ready to stop performing that for a while. My clients often live with dissociative disorders (DID, OSDD), OCD, PTSD, or the trauma layered underneath anxiety and long histories of not being believed. Many are trans, nonbinary, queer, neurodivergent, or all of the above. If therapy has felt clinical, rushed, or like you had to translate yourself to be understood, you're not alone in that.

With training in EMDR, IFS, polyvagal-informed therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology, I help individuals heal from chronic stress and trauma.
Do you feel stuck in survival mode—avoiding connection, overachieving to feel worthy, or struggling with push-pull patterns that come from attachment wounds? Maybe relationships feel unstable, or you have trouble trusting others while also fearing abandonment. You might feel overwhelmed, highly sensitive, or unsure how to set boundaries without guilt. These reactions make sense when trauma has shaped how you relate to yourself and the people in your life. I help clients understand these patterns, reduce overwhelm, and build healthier, more secure connections.

I specialize in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy with Psilocybin or Ketamine as well as Internal Family Systems ( IFS), EMDR, and somatic approaches.
There's an aspect of you that is already whole and complete, our work simply reconnects you with that. Sometimes you touch it when you're at your best. I know that you've felt it in moments of unexpected clarity: those passing seconds where you see your life in fullness. A sentence or two that came out of your mouth with a kind of confidence that feels unfamiliar. A brief sense of your own sacred, unique place in this world. Then it's gone, replaced again by a gray fog of pattern, habit, and repetition.
What you feel is not an illusion. It's your true self, knocking at the door of your attention. Are you ready to open that door>

As individuals embark on the journey of therapy, they navigate a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts:
Overwhelm (will I ever feel ‘normal’ again?)
Anxiety & Worry (how is talking going to help me?)
Fear (will this pain ever go away?)
Asking for help (I’ve never needed it before!)
Self-Esteem ( I wish I could feel good about myself)
I work with individuals ranging in age from preteen (12) to adults. I work with struggles in relationship issues, trauma, addiction, and emotional overwhelm such as depression and anxiety.

I'm a LCSW with training in trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems, cognitive therapies, body-based methods, and a neurodiversity-affirming practice.
There's often a moment when something quiet surfaces- a recognition that the patterns in your life, your relationships, your nervous system, have been running longer than you'd like. If part of you is reading this looking for something that actually makes sense of that, you're in the right place.
At Reframe Counseling, I work with people navigating anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, PTSD, depression, grief, and burnout- often in combination. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning and exhausted. They've been managing well enough for a long time, and now that's no longer working the way it used to.

I am trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems, and advanced training in PTSD and C-PTSD.
Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed and confused, like their thoughts are tangled and they cannot find their way through them. They are often healing from harmful or abusive relationships, working through attachment wounds, navigating major life transitions, or trying to rebuild a sense of self that got lost somewhere along the way. Some have been questioning their own reality for so long that they just need someone to help them make sense of it. In our work together, we slow down, untangle the confusion, and help you find clarity about who you are and what you need.

Some patterns don't announce themselves. They just quietly decide who you love, what you tolerate, and where you stop before you even notice what happened.
I help you meet those patterns directly—through inner awareness and depth that brings what's hidden into view, so it stops running your outer life.
I blend somatic work, mindfulness, and deep self-inquiry to support you around relationships and behaviors which often mask deeper unintegrated experiences. I also support clients exploring somatic and psychedelic integration. My approach pairs evidence-based methods with contemplative practice, shaped by my own inner journeys.

I will integrate techniques from evidenced-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Internal Family Systems ( IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Find meaningful change, new perspectives, and a clear path forward. Struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, loneliness, unhelpful patterns, or unresolved trauma can become barriers to a fulfilling and connected life. Many come to therapy feeling stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from themselves, their values, and others. Trauma keeps the score; however, healing is possible. I offer evidenced based, integrative tools and techniques to help you find your path toward wellness for the whole person. The invitation is open. You are welcome into this space to be seen, heard, and accepted with compassion and presence.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
