I tend to use techniques from EMDR, mindfulness practices, CBT and DBT to support your healing.
Sometimes we may find ourselves feeling lonely, disconnected, stuck, or lost, I've been there myself and am here to help. We'll explore what’s been weighing on you while creating space for greater self-understanding, curiosity, and self-compassion. I work with individuals who may be navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, ADHD, life transitions, stress, and eating disorders. I hope that through our work together, you'll develop a deeper connection with yourself, learn to trust your inner wisdom, and feel empowered to make choices that align with your values.

I use EMDR in combination with mindfulness and self compassion to guide clients to health.
Every human being has a true genuine authentic self. Trauma is the disconnection from it and healing is the reconnection to it. - Dr. Gabor Mate Life is full of beauty and hardship. We all have experiences that shape who we are, how we feel, and what we believe about ourselves. Sometimes we need a brave space to explore and heal our wounds. From young professionals to helping professionals to new moms to folks in the LGBTQ+ community, I invite deep exploration and support clients to develop understanding of how the adversities they've faced impact their minds, bodies, and spirits.

Some of life's dilemmas require a conversation to resolve. A conversation that weaves past and present, fantasy and reality, desire and inhibition to form a detailed understanding of one's life. An understanding that allows us to think decisions through so we can decide what we want and how to go about getting there. This often starts with a stronger ability to say no to what we don’t want, but then transforms into a confidence to say yes to what we do want. Sometimes it’s trauma. Sometimes it’s how we think and feel. Sometimes it’s just putting ourselves last through self-destructive behavior.

My clients are often thoughtful, self-aware people who have spent years trying to cope, push through, overthink, or care for everyone else first. Others come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or like life has simply become too much to carry alone. Either way, together, we create space to explore the deeper patterns underneath anxiety, self-doubt, and overwhelm while building a more grounded and authentic way of living. I work with adults who want more than symptom management alone — many are longing to feel more connected to themselves, their relationships, and the life they're living.

Currently working towards my EMDR certification.
Hi, I’m someone who finds joy in creativity, compassion, and connection—with people, animals, and the natural world. Art has always been a deep passion of mine; whether I’m painting, drawing, or exploring new mediums, it’s how I express what words sometimes can’t. That led me to art therapy. I’m also someone who thrives on helping others. I believe small acts of kindness can create big ripples. My love for animals runs just as deep. When I’m not creating or helping, you’ll most likely find me outdoors. Nature is my happy place—whether I’m hiking, camping, gardening, or just watching the sunset, it recharges and inspires me.

Do you ever find yourself questioning if there is more to life, going through a life transition, or simply not feeling quite like yourself? You are not alone. These feelings are a natural part of being human, and there are times when we all need some extra support in our lives. I firmly believe that healing is attainable for those who have the desire, the necessary support, and the willingness to actively engage in their path towards well-being. Life presents us with various chances to explore ourselves and evolve through our encounters.

EMDR Therapists
Who is EMDR for?
EMDR was initially developed as a treatment for individuals with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for whom memories of a deeply distressing experience can be inadvertently triggered by random everyday events. The procedure has since been applied in the treatment of many other conditions. For example, it is used by some therapists to treat anxiety disorders including panic and phobias, depression, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and some personality disorders. It is suitable for adolescents and adults.

Why do people need EMDR?
People need EMDR as a way to manage distressing memories that in some way hamper the ability to function in the present. The procedure is believed to target the way memories are stored in the brain. Evidence indicates that past disturbing experiences cause ongoing distress because they were not adequately processed, and when such memories are triggered in the present, they are accompanied by all the emotions, thoughts, and physical sensations as the initial experience.

What problems does EMDR treat?
First and foremost, EMDR is intended as a treatment for PTSD, to defuse distressing memories that intrude on and impair everyday functioning. It is also often used to help those who are subject to panic attacks, phobias, and other forms of anxiety. In addition, EMDR has been used to treat individuals with depression, eating disorders, and personality disorders.

What happens in EMDR therapy?
First the therapist takes an individual’s history, and then the therapist and client decide which distressing experience(s) will be the target(s) of the exercise, delivered via a side-to-side visual stimulus requiring lateral eye movements. The client will be asked to activate thoughts, feelings, and any body sensations related to the troubling experience. The eye movements are said to reduce the emotional charge of the memory, so that the experience can then be safely discussed with the therapist and digested, minimizing its ability to trigger anxiety.
