I use an integrated combination of therapies and interventions in my practice including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Brainspotting Therapy.
I create a welcoming and supportive space where clients can share their life stories and bring their full, authentic selves. Through this process, clients are invited to grow into a deeper and more personal sense of wellness. Feeling truly seen and heard is, in itself, a powerful path toward healing. I partner with clients as they gain insight into how their thoughts, beliefs, past experiences, behaviors, and relationships continue to shape their present lives.

I pull from mindfulness and self-compassion based approaches along with yoga, DBT, brainspotting, listening therapies, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
My trauma informed and brain sensitive training focus gives me the tools to work with individuals wanting to heal mind-body-brain from chronic stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma. My experience as a School Counselor gives me the expertise to support educators struggling with burnout and parents advocating for their child's success in school and life.

Together, we can build on your strengths, develop new coping strategies, and increase your confidence so that you can move toward the life you want to live.

I provide trauma-focused therapy using evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, stabilization techniques, and nervous system regulation strategies.
Many people carry the emotional impact of trauma long after the event itself has passed. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, PTSD, and relational distress connected to past trauma, including childhood experiences, relationship trauma, and the psychological impact of serious or terminal illness. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival patterns and develop greater stability, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships with themselves and others. I am constantly looking for training to further develop my skills to meet my clients individual needs.

While EMDR may be all the hype these days, I utilize Brainspotting, a more customizable, gentle, yet effective approach, that can do wonders for those who are a bit more sensitive, anxious, are neurodivergent, or may have more complex trauma to work through.
You can expect a strengths-based yet integrative approach working with me. Alongside Brainspotting, I use components of ACT, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, IFS, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to make this a very catered and person-centered experience for each individual.

I provide specialized, culturally competent trauma and stress management therapy designed specifically for LEOs, firefighters, EMS, military personnel and their families. As a first responder or officer, you face critical incidents, shift work, and high-stakes stress that most people—and many therapists—simply do not understand. That's why Signal 33 Therapy was created. Named after the emergency radio code for “Officer Needs Assistance,” our mission is to answer that call with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality. I take Aetna, Cigna, and other insurances and reasonable private pay.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
