I know that learning about trauma informed therapy styles, like EMDR and Brainspotting, can be a little overwhelming.
Do you struggle feeling connected and close to others? Do you struggle with worry or stress? Do you sometimes lose sleep, become unfocused or distracted, or is being present and calm around other people challenging? The work I do with clients centers around learning how to feel calm and connected again. Sometimes, after a period of struggle (like a loss, divorce, or extended work stress), we can forget what it was like to not struggle. To find that calm again, to reclaim who we used to be, can help us move forward.

Using research-backed approaches like EMDR, somatic methods, and brainspotting I help clients process what’s weighing on them in a safe and grounded way.
Are you feeling constantly on alert, emotionally drained, or like you're just going through the motions? Do you experience restless sleep, intrusive thoughts, or moments when the past feels too close? Maybe you've become skilled at staying strong for others, but you're not sure how to take care of yourself. You may feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or from a sense of safety and calm. Many people in your position feel like they should “just handle it,” but the truth is, carrying so much alone can wear you down over time.

Trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, I help clients process unresolved experiences, reduce anxiety, and calm nervous system stress.
My ideal clients are individuals and couples who feel the strain in their lives or their relationships but don’t want to give up on them. Many are navigating high-stress careers, trauma exposure, life transitions, or divorce. They may feel disconnected, stuck in conflict, or unsure how to communicate without defensiveness or shutdown. They want to rebuild emotional safety, strengthen connection, and feel understood again. At their core, they’re not looking for blame — they’re looking for clarity, stability, and a healthier way forward together.

I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD, using EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to support healing that is grounded, individualized, and lasting.
My approach is warm, intuitive, and down-to-earth. I create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply human, where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll explore the parts of you that long to be understood, unlearn what no longer serves, and strengthen the inner resources that already live within you.

Brainspotting for subconscious work using limbic system and visual field, created by EMDR therapist.
Somatic Private Pay Therapy for High-Achievers. You've been looking for someone who gets it. Some of my clients have a famous face and can't walk into a waiting room. They are not broken. They are carrying something specific. And they need someone who sees that clearly. Finding nervous system care that fits your story, understands the context, and respects your need for absolute discretion is hard. Most therapists aren't equipped for the pressure of success or the isolation of being on a pedestal. If you're successful and know a skilled therapist is essential for quality of life—not crisis management—you're in the right place.

I am trained in Brainspotting and can include this somatic practice in treatment, often helpful for unprocessed difficult experiences.
Relationships can feel overwhelming, confusing, or deeply lonely—especially when anxiety, overthinking, or repeated patterns keep showing up. If you’re struggling with emotional disconnection, people-pleasing, boundary-setting, or navigating a breakup, you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, feel truly heard, and begin to understand what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll explore relational patterns, strengthen self-trust, and help you build healthier, more fulfilling connections, with others and with yourself.

Online Brainspotting, EMDR, and parts-work therapy for adults in NY and across over 40 US states.
You are strong, capable, and self-aware, which is exactly why it can be confusing to find yourself repeating patterns that leave you feeling depleted. You no longer feel like you. You wonder if you're the problem. And you are burned out from overgiving, struggling to say no, and feeling unseen. Part of you is ready for something different. To stop apologizing for who you are. To trust your instincts again and build relationships that feel steady rather than draining. You want to understand the invisible wounds that shaped these patterns so you can move forward with clarity, self-respect, and a stronger sense of direction

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, let me help you process traumatic episodes using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Resilience (TRM), Brainspotting, and Alpha-Stim Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES).
As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) trained in IFS, I am absolutely passionate about helping those impacted by sexual integrity issues. I work with "addicted parts" using individual, couple, and group therapy modalities. I am quite aware of relational trauma that partners of sex, porn, and relationship addicts experience, and I compassionately work to guide addicted parts through isolating and shame-filled experiences. My role is to help reduce this shame and systematically get to the root of the addictive and compulsive behaviors that have led to intimacy disorder issues.

Couples Counseling: Something has shifted in your relationship — and you can feel it. Maybe the two of you have drifted apart, or conversations keep turning into arguments no matter how hard you try. Perhaps trust has been broken and you're not sure if the relationship can survive it. Whatever brought you here, the fact that you're looking means some part of you still believes things can be different. For the past 25+ years, I've seen partners find their way back to each other from some very painful places. What makes that possible is understanding where problems are really coming from and finding solutions that honor both of you.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
