Integrative therapy to nourish your mind and body as you uncover who you are beneath the roles, expectations, and masks you've learned to wear. I work with emerging adults, and women to move beyond simply coping toward real self-understanding, nervous system regulation, and whole-person wellbeing. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or high-achieving individuals who have spent years adapting to a world that wasn't built for them. They may be teens and young adults figuring out their footing, women redefining themselves in a new stage of life, or moms learning to care for themselves while caring for others.

I use a mix of talk therapy, experiential/arts options, and Brainspotting (a technique that helps release uncomfortable emotions).
I specialize in working with 2e/gifted/highly sensitive/ND people dealing with anxiety, stress, perfectionism, and self esteem issues. Sometimes things just really suck. You feel like no one gets it; maybe no one gets YOU. Everyone else seems to have it together in a way that you can't even imagine right now. You feel completely overwhelmed by all the things you have to do. You just want to feel better.

I integrate EMDR, Brainspotting, and clinical hypnosis, along with somatic and parts-based approaches (IFS-informed) and mindfulness.
I offer therapy for people who feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite explain. Overthinking, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, or stress that shows up in your body or relationships. If you’ve been trying to “figure it out” on your own but aren’t seeing lasting change, therapy can help you move forward in a more focused, supported way. My approach is active, collaborative, and practical. We won’t just talk about what’s going on, we’ll work with it. Together, we’ll identify patterns, process what’s underneath them, and build tools you can use in your daily life so progress doesn’t stay stuck in the therapy room.

Hello old friend, we may have never met, but I've seen your pain. The journey from suffering to satisfaction can be a long, uncertain, and winding road. It’s never set. But it's almost always worth it. If you’re ready, I’d like to share that journey with you. I may be able to help you find the peace and freedom that seem so tough to find. If you’re ready to explore your story with me. It’s probably much easier than you think. I can handle the neurobiology and therapeutic interventions, you bring a story and an open mind/heart.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
