Sex Addiction is a black hole. Getting help via a therapeutic relationship where the client can be heard, accepted, empathized with and helped to feel safe can lead to the healing of freedom from this addiction. Tools for growth, new strength, a greater life balance, clarity are used. I have a passion for coming alongside individuals who are seeking freedom from this addiction, helping them to see a path to that freedom and walking alongside them on that precious journey. The greatest satisfaction I derive is from seeing an individual attain his or her life goals through this special therapeutic relationship. First consult is free.

This may be the first time you have begun to confront the challenges which exist in your life. If so, I applaud you because you have just taken the first step on the road to healing and recovery. Whether you've done this before or not, the early steps are not easy but I am confident you will find the journey is worth the risk. Maybe it's time for you to take the next step. I would love to hear from you so I can join you on this important journey.

Do you feel sad, overwhelmed or stuck? Are you facing a difficult life transition or maybe you are struggling in your relationship? The circumstances of life can leave us feeling alone and uncertain of what lies ahead. We are more than our problems. We were not designed to face these deep challenges alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, aging, family conflict or life transitions, I’m here to work with you. In our deeply isolated and atomized society, seeking help can be a radical act. It can also require a leap of faith; you are trusting that someone you do not know will be able to help you

My approach to therapy is person-centered and systemic in nature. I view therapy as an acknowledgment of an internal desire to become more attuned to the way that you experience the world. Therapy can help develop skills that improve functioning for individuals.

If you are ready for action, I am the counselor for you. You have thought about your issue for a long time, maybe even tried to solve it yourself, perhaps more than once. It's frustrating repeating the same thing over and over and not knowing how to escape the cycle.

My counseling style embraces the principles of Positive Psychology, which is based upon the belief that we should be as concerned with a person's strengths as well as their weaknesses. This approach takes a client-centered approach; building the best parts of an individual's life, as well as repairing the worst. I believe in using a kind yet direct approach with my clients working in a non-judgmental manner meeting clients directly where they are in life. My strong belief in the healing process has allowed me to have the honor of being a part of positive change in the lives of my clients.

I hold radical space for your nervous system to unwind & your souls growth to emerge. I practice an inclusive, human forward approach to therapy that encourages us all to work towards a more spiritually aligned, socially just, fully expressed life & world. My work as a psychotherapist is deeply rooted in each body as a container of infinite intelligence, in a body that is free of limitation, & a body that is liberated and expressive of its truth. My gift is to pin-point wounds & patterns holding you back so I can support you in whatever you’re needing most. From there I help you connect to your deepest sense of self.

I work with the notion that people are naturally motivated to find meaning in their lives. As people search for meaning they may suffer emotionally, spiritually and psychologically and respond reactively rather than attentively. Counseling is a way to observe the reactive patterns in your life that are causing you to suffer. I will support you in discovering options to your life's challenges. I provide a place for you to observe and practice alternative ways of self-expression and I work with you towards solutions that will empower you to make the changes you want in your life. I enjoy working with couples and individuals.

Racing heart, sweating, can't focus, can't sit still. Another fight, another emotional outburst, another sense of failure. To get through life every day can seem like an extra big challenge when you are managing fear, worry, sadness, and confusion. You often feel alone in your struggles and not sure who you can talk to. The solution: To find someone who can listen and help you understand your story, who can guide you to find your own internal power, and who can help you connect with those closest to you. And someone to help you bring all the pieces together toward the common goal of finding joy and connection in your life.

We are living in such an interesting time right now during this pandemic. Any struggles we may have had previously with anxiety, depression, etc, are getting exacerbated and amplified. Our culture has taught us to grasp onto things that help us feel like we have control, and this pandemic directly challenges that, as we have very little to no control over what is happening. It is an opportunity for us to learn how to sink into trust, surrender and letting go, something we are typically not taught how to do, as well as to live more presently. There is opportunity in all of this, to learn to live and treat ourselves differently.
