If you're dealing with relationship struggles, wanting to change old patterns, or working through
trauma
(personal, physical, emotional, systemic, intergenerational, historical), I am here to support you in accessing your resources and strengths to connect you to your resilience. You hold the wisdom and strength you need to move through life, but sometimes it’s hard to tease apart the metaphorical tangled pile of yarn that internally exists...on your own. I believe in the complexity of the individual as a guiding source of their wholeness, which includes all aspects of identity, culture, and intersectionality.

I work with a social-justice-informed, creative, and embodied approach that allows individuals to embrace their unique strengths, find freedom around food and body image, and heal from past
trauma
in order to reclaim control of their life.
How long have you been struggling with the burden of feeling like you're not enough? Not small enough, not good enough, not strong enough, not simple enough… It can be exhausting and lonely to feel like you’re constantly falling short. Maybe you spend your days obsessing about food and body image, trying to power through your anxiety, or trying to push aside the burden of the past long enough for you to cope with your fears of the future. If any of this speaks to you, I want you to know that you’ve done such an amazing job getting yourself this far - but you don’t have to do it alone anymore.

Transpersonal means “trans” transcend beyond the person “personal”. This style of therapy uses different modalities to work beyond the ego-self. It consists of working with 3 layers; the mind, body, and soul. This might look like EMDR, hypnosis, yoga, meditation, dreamwork, astrology, CBT, and other techniques to explore all levels of our experience. I am a
trauma
therapist and specialize in transpersonal practices such as EMDR, Hypnosis, Womb Awakening, Sexual
Trauma
, Inner Child Healing, and much more. While I have training in many modalities of therapy, I believe connecting back to true authenticity is so important.

I work with individuals who have experienced
trauma
, addiction, and loss.
All of us have the innate ability to heal and be free from any troubling condition. This includes the little things like loneliness and confusion as well as the big things like addiction and grief; it's all life. Tackling these issues alone is very difficult and goes against our nature. Together, we can identify the source of your current dilemma. I will engage: I will walk with you as we develop ways for you to become clear, strong, and in charge of your own life. My willingness and experience can be the necessary extra ingredient for your healing.

This includes anxiety & panic, depression, struggling to regulate emotions (anger outbursts, overthinking, impulsivity), navigating relationships (romantic and platonic),
trauma
(sexual, physical, job related, childhood, relational), military/firefighters/police, & life/career coaching.
Leaving the past in the past just isn’t working out. The anxiety, depression, and hopelessness won't stop lingering. You’re the type of person who has worked your ass off to get where you are today, but something is still wrong and you can’t figure out how to get back to the place you were before; when you were happy, confident, engaged, and ready for whatever life threw at you. Freedom from the internal torture IS possible. I can help you get there.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.
How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.
What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.
Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
