Being the “default parent” or holding it all together can feel overwhelming and isolating. I specialize in supporting women—especially moms—who feel stretched thin, exhausted, or unsure of who they are beyond their roles. In our work, you’ll find a space that’s compassionate, nonjudgmental, and tailored to you—whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship stress, or the constant pressure to do it all. Therapy with me is grounded in connection and flexibility: sometimes that looks like laughter, sometimes like tears, and often a mix of both.

Sex Addiction is a black hole. Getting help via a therapeutic relationship where the client can be heard, accepted, empathized with and helped to feel safe is a path to freedom from this addiction. Tools for growth, new strength, a greater life balance, connection and clarity are used. I have a passion for coming alongside individuals who are seeking to overcome compulsive porn/sexual behaviors, carving a path to that freedom and walking alongside them on that special journey. My greatest satisfaction is from seeing an individual attain their life goals through a special therapeutic relationship. The first 30 minute consult is free.

Now accepting new clients! In an increasingly fractured world, it's easy to lose connection with the self and the world around us, leaving us struggling with intimacy, lack of purpose, limiting beliefs, or relationship issues with our loved ones. As a therapist at one of the nation's leading intensive treatment centers for intimacy disorders, I have helped hundreds of clients from across the country struggling with relationships, trauma, addiction, compulsive sexual behaviors, self-worth, relationship crisis, and sexual reintegration. I know that long-term healing is possible for those willing to take the next step.

You're a high-achieving man—partner, father, or professional—struggling silently with emotional disconnection, sexual dissatisfaction, porn or sex addiction, or the aftermath of infidelity. You've been called “too nice,” “checked out,” or emotionally unavailable. Underneath, you long for clarity, masculine integrity, and meaningful connection. You may have tried therapy before, but it felt too soft or generic. You’re not here for surface-level change. You want depth, truth, and transformation. I specialize in helping men like you find direction, heal shame, and reclaim inner strength.

Life can sometimes feel like it’s happening to us—especially when we’re caught in the grip of trauma, depression, anxiety, or obsessive thoughts. My passion as a therapist is helping people take back control, break free from the past, and step into a life that feels more whole and purposeful. Whether you’re navigating the echoes of past trauma, struggling with constant anxiety, or fighting against obsessive thoughts that won’t let go, I’m here to help you find peace, healing, and the tools you need to reclaim your life. I believe therapy should be more than just a space to talk—it should be a dynamic partnership.

I have received advanced specialized training in therapies subsequent to my academic training including, but not limited to, Sexual Addiction and EMDR.
I am, first and foremost, a highly trained Christian Therapist. For over thirty years I have worked with couples, individuals, and families helping put an anchor back into their lives. As a Marriage and Family Therapist who is licensed in both Colorado and California, I have two Masters degrees: a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Masters of Divinity (a three-year ministerial academic training) both earned from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California that has been coined “The Princeton of the West”. I use a "systems" approach to marriage and family therapy which means I view each person as part of a whole.

Broken relationships, painful losses, deep rejection, and unspeakable harm can leave lasting unrest and pain in your life. I believe healing is possible—along with renewed connection, restored hope, and an awakening of the deep longings of your heart, even when your past experiences suggest otherwise. I view counseling as a pathway toward greater wholeness, vulnerability, and the courage to take meaningful risks in pursuit of a fuller life. While I practice within the same professional and ethical framework as other clinicians, my work is shaped by a Christian worldview that informs my understanding of healing and growth.

Sexual Addiction Therapists
When should someone seek treatment for sex addiction?
People should seek treatment for sex addiction if they cannot control their sexual thoughts or behaviours to the point that it disrupts their ability to function in daily life, for example by threatening their finances, career, or relationships. This may include spending an excessive amount of time obsessing over sex, planning sex, watching pornography, or masturbating, as well as consistently engaging in risky sexual activities, using sex to escape distressing feelings, or attempting yet failing to control sexual behavior.

What are the most common treatment options for sex addiction?
Psychotherapy is the most common treatment for sex addiction; therapy helps patients better understand their compulsive thoughts and behaviors and develop strategies to manage their desires. Therapy may be supplemented by medications, such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anti-androgens, and the alcohol and substance use medication Naltrexone, as well as support groups, such as 12-step programs.

How long does therapy take for sex addiction?
Recovering from compulsive behavior takes time and effort. There’s no precise timeline for treatment, but research suggests 12 therapy sessions may be enough to see change. Treatment for sexual compulsions requires honesty in therapy, a commitment to understanding triggers and developing coping skills, and potential lifestyle changes such as cutting out alcohol or drugs.

What if sex addiction is left untreated?
Compulsive sexual behavior can have serious repercussions if left unaddressed. For example, if sexual obsessions consume the vast majority of a person’s time, they may lose their job. If they can’t stop paying for sex, their finances may suffer. If they’re dishonest in their relationships, their partner may leave them. If they consistently feel shame, they may struggle with anxiety, depression, or loneliness. Therapy can help people develop the tools to manage sexual thoughts and behaviors that feel uncontrollable.
