I know first hand how discouraging it is to have a therapist you just don't click with (or think is a total wack-a-doo). Its frustrating to open up only to have someone say, "that must be hard" and little else week after week! One of the most important factors in a successful therapeutic experience is the relationship between therapist and client. I believe in this so strongly that our first session together will be free so you can meet me and see for yourself if this is a good fit. You need someone personable and genuine to relate to; to help you feel safe, challenge you to grow, and possibly even make you laugh.

I excel at supporting individuals who struggle with self esteem, emotional disturbances, or insecurities to find their authentic voice and expression, and move from patterns of codependence to acting on their own behalf.
Do you feel like you can't catch a break? Do you routinely put your needs at the bottom of your to-do list? Does this make you feel stressed out, frustrated, and resentful? You might be trapped in patterns of codependency without even realizing it. From there, it can be hard to recognize what you need. You have more power than you might think to create space for yourself in your own life. To live a life that is meaningful according to you.I am passionate about helping clients develop the awareness and tools to truly come into their own. I look forward to helping you do this too. Your own choices, your own direction, your own life.

Therapy is a space for mental maintenance—a place to care for your well-being, grow, and navigate life’s challenges. I work with individuals and couples who want to improve communication, rebuild trust, and feel more connected in their relationships. Some are navigating conflict, life transitions, or stress, while others are exploring personal growth and self-understanding. Using evidence-based approaches—like client-centered strategies, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy—I help clients uncover patterns, build tools for lasting change, and approach challenges with clarity and confidence.

Accepting New Clients, and I accept Medicaid. Navigating through life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Life can kick us in the gut and making it hard to catch our breath. Sometimes feelings are overwhelming without a reason. Reaching out for help seems like one more thing. It sometimes feels like you are shattered into a billion pieces. I get it, we've all been there. I work mostly with teens, having been a troubled and angry depressed teen myself. I have seen people take the broken pieces of their lives and create beauty. I can walk with you on that journey to healing.

I believe in mistakes and difficult times. My work is rooted in the understanding that behind every struggle—addiction, criminal thinking, anxiety, or the overwhelming stress of daily life—there is a human being searching for something better. I have experience helping people who carry heavy stories, often marked by pain, poor decisions, or just the weight of trying to get through another day.

I work with high-functioning adults who carry more than they show—individuals who are capable, responsible, and often successful, yet feel internally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected. Many clients come to me after realizing that insight alone hasn’t created the change they’re looking for. They’re ready for a deeper, more intentional approach to healing. My work integrates EMDR, parts work, and nervous system regulation to support meaningful, lasting shifts—not just symptom management. Together, we move toward a more grounded, clear, and integrated way of living.

You might be here because something feels off—self-doubt, feeling unseen, or a sense you’re capable of more but can’t reach it. Many people I work with struggle to see their strengths or believe they’re worthy of care and connection. Therapy can be a place to slow down and explore who you are. I’m Bridget Rowe, a Denver-based therapist who believes you are the expert on your own life. I came to this work through education and social work, drawn to people’s stories and honoring how unique each person is. My style is warm and collaborative. Together, we’ll ask thoughtful questions, weigh options, and build confidence in choices.

How well do you know yourself and your purpose? What motivates you, stimulates you, energizes you? Do you do enough of the things you love or do you spend your time trying to fix what is beyond your control? You desire to be appreciated, valued, connected, understood, respected and seen. Have these deeply desired needs been misplaced, faded or seem to have disappear along the road of your life journey. In that vacuum, whispering questions of how and why often appear. This, my friend, is where the journey of reclaiming yourself begins. Rest assured you aren’t alone, I see you standing at this cross road. Let me help you begin again.

Are you ready to change your world? Do you need to recover from trauma or anxiety, or are you looking to improve your life with a "wholistic" approach? Are you looking to grow into your authentic and healthy self? Do you wish to work with someone who focuses on you as an individual instead of putting you in a box with everyone else?

Self Esteem Therapists
When should a person seek therapy for low self-esteem?
When self-esteem problems begin to disrupt the healthy daily functioning of an individual, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not engaging with friends for fear of being judged, not completing work assignments because they don’t think they’re capable, or not finding romantic love because they don’t feel they’re worthy of it, a therapist may be able to help.

What are the signs of low self-esteem?
Low self-esteem is a common issue that can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being. Some common signs of low self-esteem include negative self-talk, perfectionism, social anxiety, difficulty making decisions, an inability to set boundaries, people-pleasing, and others. A lack of belief in oneself or one’s abilities and a feeling of not being worthy or deserving underlie most of these characteristics.

What causes low self-esteem?
Feelings of low self-worth can begin in childhood or adulthood. Being raised by a highly critical parent or growing up feeling constant disapproval can stay with a person well into adulthood. Specific issues in adulthood may also be a cause of low self-esteem. An unhappy relationship, a dysfunctional work or school experience can impact a person’s feelings of self-worth.

How can therapy improve self-esteem?
Therapists can help identify negative thought patterns that keep the client stuck in a loop of destructive self-talk and develop coping skills to change the voice in their head. A therapist can help with goal-setting, so that clients are better able to stay on task and build confidence from successfully completing work they’re proud of. Coaching a client on how to better communicate can improve relationships. These skills can result in someone with low self-esteem feeling empowered and living with less fear.
