You may feel stuck in self-doubt, overthinking, or the quiet pressure to “have it all figured out.” You might struggle with confidence, imposter syndrome, or uncertainty about who you are or where you’re headed. Often, these challenges show up as anxiety, perfectionism, or difficulty trusting yourself and your choices. What you want is clarity, self-trust, and a steadier sense of direction—without having to perform, push, or become someone you’re not.

I work with adults who want to feel more connected, confident, and fulfilled in their relationships — with others and with themselves. Many of my clients come to me feeling exhausted from trying to meet everyone’s needs and unsure how to find balance — feeling disconnected. Together, we explore who they are now, identify the attachment patterns shaping their relationships, and calm the nervous system that’s been stuck in “overdrive.” This process helps them feel grounded, present, and able to show up authentically in all areas of life.

I work with so many clients who feel disconnected, stuck, and overwhelmed. They have become disconnected from themselves, from their partners, and from their children. Things used to be good and happy and now they don't know how to get back there.

Are you looking to turn insight into action this year? Repeating habits rooted in emotional wounds can be painful and exhausting. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who notice dysfunctional interpersonal patterns showing up in their relationships today. Together, we identify the parts of ourselves (such as perfectionist or self-sabotaging parts) that keep these cycles going and work to gently disrupt patterns rooted in fear and trauma. By increasing awareness of the mechanisms that once helped us survive, we can access our true selves and live more intentionally.

If you’re a smart, thoughtful woman over 50 who’s frustrated with eating or weight—and nothing seems to be working anymore—I’ve got you. Many of the women I work with have tried to eat “healthy” for years, yet their body isn’t responding the way it used to. You may be eating less but gaining weight, or feeling like you’ve lost your rhythm with food, energy, or confidence.
It doesn’t have to be this hard. With a wiser, abundance-based approach, most of my clients not only lose weight, but also sleep better, feel calmer, and get peace with food again.

Are you a woman who feels constantly overwhelmed and mentally exhausted–even when nothing is "technically" wrong?
Many women I work with feel like their nervous system is always on high alert. Their minds won't slow down, anxious thoughts come out of nowhere, and the weight of being a good mom, partner, and professional feels unbearable. If you're constantly worried, overstimulated, or wondering why motherhood feels harder than you expected–you’re not broken, and you're not alone.

As an AuDHD, queer & disabled therapist, I get it: it's hard to find someone who understands. Attunement means harmony - let's find it together.

My main specialties include Women's Issues, Self-Esteem/Self-Worth & Identity, and Faith-Cased Counseling.
It was through my own life experiences and challenges that I learned the value of leaning into others for support and the benefit of working toward growing into my best self. Regardless of where life has taken us, I believe that we can embrace our story to not only grow in resiliency, but to also be used for our good.

Women's Issues Therapists
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.
How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.
How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
