For over 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals struggling with low self-esteem, trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-criticism.
Do you ever feel like your worst enemy lives in your own mind? That inner voice, critical, harsh, and relentless, can wear you down, keep you stuck, and steal your hope. Negative self-talk impacts every area of life, from your mental and physical health to your relationships and work performance. Most of us are harder on ourselves than anyone else ever could be. Over time, this constant self-criticism chips away at your confidence, drains your energy, and makes it harder to feel connected to yourself and others. It fuels anxiety, depression, and the belief that you have to earn your worth. But...there's hope.

Supporting men, women, and couples in Colorado navigating anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges.
Anxiety leaves us feeling disconnected, alone, and isolated. You may be fed up with feeling dissatisfied, overwhelmed, and empty. You might not even remember when things didn't feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you are ready for some relief. You are prepared to understand your needs and express them authentically. You are ready to build a life where your words and actions align. Most of all, you are prepared to process and resolve core issues, move forward unencumbered, and have the life and relationships that are enriching.

I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, low self-esteem, and experiences of narcissistic abuse.
You're not crazy, broken, or failing. You're human! As your therapist, my goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel empowered to explore and nurture your individual path. Whether you’re navigating challenges or seeking change, I’m here to help you every step of the way. When I’m not working with clients, you'll find me wrangling my three dogs, offering motivational speeches to my plants, and drinking way too much coffee with a generous amount of creamer.

I am committed to supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or the complexities of everyday life.
If you’ve ever questioned your worth, felt your heart race under pressure, or worried that you’re a burden to others, know that your feelings are valid—but they don’t define you. Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to face it alone. I believe in creating a space where every person’s experiences are acknowledged and their struggles met with compassion.

There are ways to deal with stress, heal from trauma, readjust our underlying beliefs, and move on, thrive, living a life we can value and find worthwhile.
I know that particular methods do not work for everyone. I individualize approaches. A person who trusts me & commits to do the work, is helped to identify traumas, unhelpful habits, beliefs, or blind spots, & either heal them or use them as stepping stones, to a life he/she can value, and may not even initially believe is possible.

However, if there’s anything I’ve learned over more than a decade working with the havoc wreaked by trauma and relationships in crisis, it’s that the therapeutic journey ought to lead to a destination
As a clinician, entrepreneur, supervisor, & doctor-in-training, I have spent 10 years honing my craft: the art and science of relationship restoration. As an empath & trauma survivor, I use my intuition, warmth, empathy, sense of humor, and down-to-earth nature to help people feel heard, understood and validated, whatever struggle you bring to session.

Trauma can cause us to get stuck in our minds and disconnected from our bodies.
We all hold the inner knowledge of whats best for our lives but sometimes need a gentle guide to help us find our path. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you will feel comfortable sharing difficult feelings & experiences. In my own healing journey I have found a combo of EMDR, IFS, somatic work and psychedelic therapy to be life changing.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
