My name is Lou Bardach, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults who grew up in families where alcoholism, dysfunction, or trauma shaped how they see themselves and connect with others. You may feel weighed down by shame, loneliness, anxiety, or self-doubt, often stuck in patterns you desperately want to change but can’t seem to escape. Deep down, you may long for safety, belonging, and the freedom to live as your truest self. My role is to walk beside you with compassion and courage as you rediscover your worth, heal the wounds of your past, and move toward an authentic, connected, and more fulfilling life.

Hi, I’m Megan (she/her)! I’m a therapist with a PhD and an LCSW, and I bring together clinical practice, creativity, and research to help people feel more connected to themselves and their lives. I primarily offer in-person therapy sessions and typically work with children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 8-30). My work is grounded in the belief that healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it’s shaped by our relationships, identities, and the environments we move through. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.

Effective clinical work demands a therapeutic framework that transcends the boundaries of traditional talk therapy. In my practice with individuals and families navigating significant life transitions, I utilize an experiential, action-oriented methodology to access what verbal inquiry alone cannot reach. This humanist and multicultural approach provides a technical space to synthesize and mirror your psychological and physiological narrative. By integrating specific creative media, we move past intellectualization to engage directly with the structures of your lived experience at a rhythm that honors your autonomy.

My work is especially effective for queer (LGBTQ+) and neurodivergent people, including ADHD and autism. My ideal client may have tried talk therapy before but found it not to be helpful and is ready to try something new. My approach to counseling combines the individual's needs with awareness of larger systems that we exist in. I use a matter-of-fact, down-to-earth and sometimes humorous approach to talking about difficult things.

Hello and welcome! If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you’ve had to shrink yourself just to survive, you're not alone. I’m here to help you reclaim your voice, reconnect with your creativity, and live boldly–remembering that you are never too sensitive, too weird, too much, or too anything. You are always enough. Therapy isn’t here to fix you; it’s to remind you that you were never broken. I use humor, curiosity, and compassion to provide a space where you can unmask, challenge societal norms and expectations, and define life on your own terms.
