Are you a busy leader or manager and you feel burned out or overwhelmed with all that happens at work let alone your personal life? Maybe you are an entrepreneur leading a small team, or taking the everyday risks of putting yourself out there. Perhaps you are a busy parent trying to lead your family through all of the complexity in today's world. Maybe you're just trying to lead yourself into achieving your next goal. I work with folks that are burned out, anxious, depressed, or feeling like they don't fit in. Together we identify not only the changes that might be needed, but how to heal the root of their emotional challenges.

Supporting men, women, and couples in Colorado navigating anxiety, trauma, and relational challenges.
Anxiety leaves us feeling disconnected, alone, and isolated. You may be fed up with feeling overwhelmed, powerless, and withdrawn. You might not even remember when things didn't feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you are ready for some relief. You are prepared to understand your needs and express them authentically. You are ready to build a life where your words and actions align. Most of all, you are prepared to process and resolve core issues, move forward unencumbered, and have enriching life and relationships.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in helping adults and couples navigate challenges like depression, anxiety, and sexual issues (low libido, sexual dysfunction, communication, intimacy, and sexual identity).
In our work, I focus on creating safety for insight. I believe that the answers you seek are already inside of you, and that your pain, strong emotions, and past hurts can often act as barriers to accessing that deep wisdom. My role is to help you clear those barriers and tap into the insight that is already within you.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and children navigating trauma, loss, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
You don’t have to keep carrying the weight of past wounds or walking through life feeling disconnected, anxious, or overwhelmed. Whether it’s personal trauma, relational strain, grief, or one of life’s many transitions — it can leave you feeling like you’re stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, repeating old roles, or just trying to hold it all together. Maybe you’re noticing tension in your relationships — or within yourself. You might feel unseen, unheard, or unsure how to move forward. You may not even remember what ease, clarity, or connection felt like. But if you’re here, something in you is ready for change.

You are feeling alone, unseen, unheard, and you are married or in a relationship.
I take a distinct approach. We begin with practical tools (Gottman methods) to reduce conflict and create relief. Then we move beyond tools. I work to understand your histories, emotional triggers, and relational patterns so we can shift what’s driving the disconnection. Relief matters—but lasting, authentic connection requires deeper, meaningful change.

Together, we’ll build a new way of communicating that prioritizes understanding over being "right." Whether you’re navigating the strain of chronic illness, the fallout of addiction, or simply feeling a loss of connection, there is a path back to each other. You don’t have to keep doing this alone.

Maybe you and your partner keep having the same fight, or past trauma shows up as shutdown, irritability, or panic.
I help with couples/premarital concerns, trauma & PTSD, and depression. We’ll get practical fast: de-escalation tools, clearer communication & boundaries you can keep. We’ll also do deeper repair work - especially after betrayal or long-distance/resentment patterns. I often work from an attachment-informed, trauma-aware therapy and CBT/ACT skills approach.

I'm a very accessible and active therapist, and I offer specialized groups to meet clients' needs. Groups occur Tuesday through Saturday, depending on group assignment. Individual sessions are often a part of effective treatment planning, in addition to, or instead of, group format. Reasonable pricing.

I love working with a diversity of populations. My ideal client has some insight into what he/she is struggling with and a willingness to open up about their pain. I understand that trusting a therapist can be frighting, especially for those who have a history of painful relationships. I am client centered and will work at your pace with the understanding that as we build trust I will start to challenge thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you from meeting your goals.

Marriage Counseling Therapists
How does marriage counseling work?
Marriage counseling works by teaching couples concrete skills to communicate with one another and solve disagreements in healthy ways. A trained mental health professional works with both members of a couple to explore difficulties the couple may be having and helps them develop skills to address these matters. Couples who don’t have any difficulties but want to prepare for marriage may develop skills for the future.

How long does marriage counseling typically last?
Marriage counseling is a short-term form of therapy; the process may last between four and eight sessions. Other forms of relationship guidance from mental health professionals, such as couples therapy, are longer lasting, may focus on the past rather than just the present, and are tailored to the individual couple and their emotions, history, and patterns in the relationship. Couples therapy often lasts for 12 weeks or longer.

Is marriage counseling effective?
Marriage counseling helps many couples develop relationship skills that may not have been acquired or tested in a relationship; partners may be better able to communicate and address conflict following counseling. However, there are many different forms of marriage counseling, and this form of counseling does not have as strong an evidence base as other modalities such as couples therapy.

Is marriage counseling effective if only one partner wants to go?
Yes, marriage counseling can still be effective if one partner convinces the other to engage in the process. Of course, whether counseling is effective depends on the couple’s commitment to work on their relationship; however, the short-term, skills-based nature of marriage counseling makes it a relatively easy “ask” of a partner, and the hesitant individual may see its value once counseling begins.
