Typical treatment day will look like us doing an overview of what is coming up and depending on what is there we will dive into it through conversation, psychoeducation, IFS, reframing, or somatic approaches.
Hello! My name is Kaylin. I support adults and teens in finding empowerment to live fully and be in their truest self. It takes the right support to be in alignment with our true self and live the way we see possible. Wherever you have come from and wherever you are now, you have had a remarkable journey, and have a story to share. I would be honored to hear your story and support you in navigating the hardships and overwhelm. Lets build, practice, and create the self you know exists and is calling you here now. My lens for viewing our human experience is holistic, culturally informed and creative. I view nature as a healer.

I believe who you are is not something in need of fixing. When we feel stuck or disconnected, life feels profoundly more stressful. I work with individuals who are finally ready to take that first step on their path towards self discovery or have already begun the process on their own. During our work together, my goal is to establish a meaningful relationship with a shared sense of ownership for your treatment. The greatest predictor of treatment success is the therapeutic alliance between the therapist and client. I connect with my clients through empathy, compassion humor and metaphor.

I believe that true healing occurs when a human feels authentically seen for who they are, connected to the people around them, and safe in the therapeutic space to begin navigating their inner world. I work with adults and couples navigating episodic, developmental or complex trauma, identity, and relationship challenges. My approach is relational and person centered, drawing from attachment theory, somatic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for clients wanting to deepen their therapeutic process.

I use evidence-based treatments like EMDR for trauma, the Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy for couples, Family Systems for relational patterns, DBT skills for emotional resilence, and play therapy, including sandplay for children.
You don’t have to keep carrying the weight of past wounds or walking through life feeling disconnected, anxious, or overwhelmed. Whether it’s personal trauma, relational strain, grief, or one of life’s many transitions — it can leave you feeling like you’re stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, repeating old roles, or just trying to hold it all together.
Maybe you’re noticing tension in your relationships — or within yourself. You might feel unseen, unheard, or unsure how to move forward. You may not even remember what ease, clarity, or connection felt like. But if you’re here, something in you is ready for change.

I am a Level 1 Certified Internal Family Systems ( IFS) practitioner, having obtained such certification through the IFS Institute.
As a therapist, I genuinely enjoy sitting with people and listening to their life experiences. I believe we all have a story, and I am honored when people choose to share their stories with me. I often tell people that “I may not have many answers to life's big questions; however, I have a pair of ears that will listen.” And that is my promise to you – to listen – without judgment, and with an earnest desire to journey with you through your continued self-discovery and healing process.

Therapy for high-velocity thinkers, attorneys, and other high-stakes professionals who out-think traditional surface-level therapy.
Most traditional therapy wasn’t built for high-capacity, rapid-processing minds. When you operate with exceptional cognitive speed or carry heavy professional responsibility, standard interventions can feel painfully slow. You may find yourself catching your therapist up on complex systems, out-thinking basic cognitive exercises, or using sharp intellect to analyze feelings rather than process them.

I primarily use Family Systems Therapies in my practice.
I work with so many clients who feel disconnected, stuck, and overwhelmed. They have become disconnected from themselves, from their partners, and from their children. Things used to be good and happy and now they don't know how to get back there.

Since mind and body aren't separate, I draw on IFS, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy to help high performers close the gap between how they look and how they actually feel.
Are you high-performing but sense something is missing, unaddressed, or just off? Maybe you're the one who always has it together, the one everyone leans on, yet you're quietly trying harder than everyone else just to keep up. I work with driven people—leaders, entrepreneurs, parents—who look successful on the outside but feel burned out, anxious, depressed, or disconnected underneath. Together we find what's really going on and heal what's underneath it, not just manage the symptoms.

Deepening your self-awareness is a priority for you. You are ready to realign so your daily life matches who you are becoming rather than who you were. Most of all, you are prepared to process and resolve core issues, move forward unencumbered, and lead an enriching life and build relationships.

I believe that many of our challenges are rooted in trauma and childhood attachment. Growth can happen when we are able to develop intrinsic motivation to heal, while accepting our faults during the growth process. I support my clients in doing this with empathy and by instilling self-confidence.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
