It's not about the food. And it is also about the food. It is about appearance but not vanity. Not everyone understands. If you’re dealing with disordered eating, negative body image, anxiety, or depression, the push-pull may leave you feeling overwhelmed or alone. You might be looking for support that offers structure and practical tools (without judgment). Maybe you're looking for a therapist who is engaged, responsive, and present with you. In our work together, you will not be talking to a blank face. I use humor and connection to explore patterns, build coping skills, and strengthen self-trust at a comfortable pace.

You feel disconnected from yourself, navigating a world that doesn’t always account for your unique rhythm. Perhaps you are untangling the knots of neurodivergence, trauma, or a major life transition. You aren’t looking to be "fixed," but you need a space to process the weight of anxiety or depression. Your goal is to find meaning amidst the chaos and move from simply coping to living with inner alignment. You want to feel seen in your wholeness—longing for a life that feels nourishing, true, and deeply connected to your identity.

Ever felt like a part of you is desperate to change while another is terrified to let go? This isn’t a sign of being broken; it is the hallmark of a complex, protective internal system. My approach honors this by utilizing IFS to engage these parts with compassion, unburdening the trauma they’ve carried to keep you safe. To support this deep work, I integrate DBT to build the distress tolerance and emotional regulation needed for a "secure base." Simultaneously, CPT helps identify and challenge stuck points, those distorted beliefs about safety and trust that trauma often leaves behind.

You might be navigating a significant transition: starting over after beginning your recovery journey, shifting your identity, relocating, or untangling from old roles that no longer fit. My clients are often figuring out who they are and how to move forward with more clarity and intention. Some are processing trauma, others just need space to think out loud. You don’t have to show up polished or perfect, just honest. Together, we’ll map out what matters, sort through the stuck points, and build toward something more grounded and sustainable.

Therapy can provide life-changing benefits for anyone, and doesn't mean that someone is “ill” or that anything is “wrong”. Feelings of sadness and worry are natural, and therapy can help us overcome difficult circumstances and learn skills that can assist us throughout the rest of our lives. I understand and respect the strength it takes to begin challenging roadblocks in our lives, and I am here to help you every step of the way.

You might feel like you’re constantly "on," yet stuck in place—battling a brain that won't quiet down, memories that feel too heavy, or relationships that leave you drained. My ideal client is often navigating the invisible weight of ADHD, anxiety, or past trauma while trying to manage major life shifts. You want to stop just "surviving" your days and start feeling grounded. You’re looking for a space where you don't have to filter your reality—a place to understand your patterns, heal your connections, and finally feel like you’re the one in the driver’s seat of your own life.

In my first years in the field, I noticed the trend of individuals understanding their patterns of self-sabotage but still feeling unable to break these as the therapeutic work they have done was all cognitive and therefore, had not resulted in a heart change. People would be able to understand from a logical sense that they had worth for example, but struggled to feel worthy or treat themselves as having value in spite of having engaged in therapy for years. To address this, I pursued continued education in order to better help these particular clients.

I am a mental health therapist with a variety of experience, specializing in holistic and integrative care. I believe that healing happens most deeply when we address the whole self: mind, body, and spirit. Many of us struggle with knowing something logically, but can't feel or believe it on a deeper level. I help clients bridge that gap and connect with themselves. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or feeling disconnected, I offer a warm, supportive space for healing.

You might be doing “fine” on the outside, but at home it’s tense - or you feel flat and tired. Maybe you and your partner keep having the same fight, or past trauma shows up as shutdown, irritability, or panic. I work with Denver-area adults and couples who want less conflict, more connection, and a steady path forward.

I believe people sometimes need help to reach their desired destination. Even though you may know where you want to go, it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the way. If you are action-oriented, I am your guy. Feelings are important, and processing your feelings is also important. With that being said, sometimes we can get lost or stuck in our feelings. Having small goals/and brief treatment assignments can keep you moving forward and help prevent getting "stuck" in your feelings.

Sometimes it can feel like you're stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, that leave you uninspired and unmotivated. When you've been in survival mode, it's easy to forget what feeling whole and understood is like. But there's an invitation here - to become curious about what's holding you back. Together, we can look into these patterns, illuminate your inner wisdom, and nurture your soul. It's time to rediscover your joy and step into a less burdened, more empowered version of yourself.

You’ve read the self-help books. You know the patterns. But that doesn’t stop the spiral when someone doesn’t text back, or the guilt when you finally say no. You’re exhausted from shrinking yourself in relationships, battling a mind that never quiets down, and wondering if you’ll ever feel fully at ease in your own skin. You’re not here for surface-level fixes. You’re ready to do the real work of untangling the deeper stuff.

I work with children, young adults, and adults, especially women, who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of chronic illness. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like they have it "together" on the outside but are struggling internally. I strive to create a space that feels warm, supportive, and genuinely safe. Therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are. Together, we'll build practical coping skills, process life's challenges, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and life :)

Cognitive Processing (CPT) Therapists
How does cognitive processing therapy work?
A CPT therapist helps a client evaluate their thoughts about the trauma they experienced, focusing on maladaptive or self-blaming thoughts that can exacerbate symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, or depression. The therapist will work with a client to help them learn to challenge such thoughts and consider different perspectives. The therapist is also likely to ask a client to work on these techniques at home between meetings, such as writing an account of their trauma that can be read aloud during a future session.

What is cognitive processing therapy for PTSD?
Cognitive processing therapy (CPT) is a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy primarily used in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to treat individuals who experienced abuse or violence, who survived natural disasters, who were first responders to such incidents, or who otherwise experienced trauma.

How long does cognitive processing therapy last?
CPT is a short-term therapy. Whether conducted one-on-one or in a group, a complete set of CPT sessions typically includes 12 weekly sessions, along with tasks for clients to complete at home, although this can vary depending on a client’s needs or a therapist’s particular treatment plan. Sessions typically last 60 or 90 minutes.

How effective is cognitive processing therapy?
A large body of research supports the use of CPT to treat people experiencing PTSD, finding it to be effective among different age groups, either in one-on-one therapy sessions or in a group therapy environment. Research suggests that although the initial sessions may be difficult, clients tend to begin to feel positive progress after the first few sessions, and that the benefits tend to last well after the therapy ends.
