You may feel stuck in self-doubt, overthinking, or the quiet pressure to “have it all figured out.” You might struggle with confidence, imposter syndrome, or uncertainty about who you are or where you’re headed. Often, these challenges show up as anxiety, perfectionism, or difficulty trusting yourself and your choices. What you want is clarity, self-trust, and a steadier sense of direction—without having to perform, push, or become someone you’re not.

I believe people sometimes need help to reach their desired destination. Even though you may know where you want to go, it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the way. If you are action-oriented, I am your guy. Feelings are important, and processing your feelings is also important. With that being said, sometimes we can get lost or stuck in our feelings. Having small goals/and brief treatment assignments can keep you moving forward and help prevent getting "stuck" in your feelings.

My clients are thoughtful and self-aware but feeling stuck —often navigating anxiety, deeply rooted self-limiting beliefs and patterns, and/or neurodivergence such as ADHD. Many come to me wanting to better understand themselves, improve daily functioning, or work through the lasting impact of growing up with emotionally immature parents. Often high-functioning on the outside, but feeling internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward in a way that actually feels aligned and sustainable.

You’re exhausted from the daily pressure of proving you measure up. Every night, the shame keeps you awake, replaying your day and dreading the "failures" you're sure are coming tomorrow. You strive for perfection because it feels like the only shield against the pain of falling short. But deep down, you just want peace or maybe just to feel like "enough" for once. If you’re white-knuckling your way through life, waiting for a crisis to justify getting help, I want you to know you don't have to wait for a breaking point. You deserve a space where you don't have to perform. Together, we can find the ease you didn't know was possible.

You may feel overwhelmed, worn down, disconnected, or stuck. Maybe you are carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, or uncertainty during a life, identity, or career transition. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable adults and teens (15+) who are used to pushing through, staying busy, or minimizing their needs, even when their nervous system is asking for care. You may be craving space to slow down, feel more grounded, and reconnect with yourself, much like finding steadiness again after time spent in nature, moving, or breathing more freely.

I believe psychotherapy can help with almost anything. Sometimes clients come in needing assistance with making a tough decision, while other times they’re needing tools to help better cope with anxiety or depression. I feel called to work with younger folks - children and adolescents specifically. I typically see children who are experiencing familial issues, ADHD, learning difficulties, and behavioral issues. Adolescence can be uncomfortable and confusing. It is a painful time for teenagers. I am deeply passionate about providing them with unconditional support, empathy, and a safe space to share their emotions.

Feel like you keep getting in your own way? Maybe you’ve noticed yourself avoiding certain people or situations, numbing out just to keep going, or struggling to make decisions because nothing feels clear. Life keeps moving, but you feel off-balance, disconnected, or like you’re carrying more than you can handle. My approach to therapy is personal, not clinical. It's rooted in helping clients reconnect with their inner world. Healing happens when we begin to feel what we’ve been talking around, when we start to remember who we were before life rearranged us, and gently begin to meet the person we’re becoming on the other side of it.

I work with the mind-body connection, utilizing mindfulness techniques, Neurofeedback/EEG Biofeedback, EMDR, breath work, and meditation, viewing the body as a whole to address trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions.
I use compassion, somatic awareness, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support clients in listening to their bodies to promote positive change and healing. I am also trained in Neurofeedback or EEG Biofeedback, which is a non-invasive method used to regulate the body and nervous system by training the brain.

Change truly is possible. I work with clients to help bring curiosity and compassion to the areas of life they wish were different, and I utilize various therapeutic tools to help shift deeply engrained nervous system responses. Let's unravel the patterns imposed through expectations, trauma, and the denial of self - to discover the wholeness already within.

I offer psychotherapy and biofeedback, separately or together.
You can't see it, but you can definitely feel it - the chest tightness, racing heartbeat, upset stomach, sweaty hands - the telltale signs of stress and anxiety are so uncomfortable and overwhelming! If only you could measure and see how stressed you were, then you could figure out what to do and how to better manage it. And maybe you could start sleeping well again too. Or maybe you're losing sleep over a really difficult relationship with a partner, parent, child, or even a friend, and you just need to sort through it with someone who isn't any of those people. I am here to help you with all of these issues.

Biofeedback Therapists
Can biofeedback help with anxiety?
Biofeedback is often used to treat anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Anecdotal evidence and some research studies have found that it can improve symptoms of these disorders, sometimes significantly; however, studies on biofeedback have typically been small and researchers have cautioned that many have significant limitations, such as limited follow-up or a lack of a control group.

Is biofeedback evidence-based?
There is some evidence that biofeedback can effectively treat certain conditions; for example, its efficacy in treating headaches and urinary incontinence is generally thought to be well-established. There is also promising, but less conclusive, evidence that it can aid in stroke recovery or help someone manage a mental health disorder such as anxiety, depression, or ADHD.

What is the difference between biofeedback and neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is a type of biofeedback that measures brain activity specifically; it is typically used to treat psychological or neurodevelopmental concerns such as ADHD, depression, insomnia, or autism spectrum disorder. Biofeedback is a broader category that, in addition to neurofeedback, also includes electromyogram, heart rate variability, and thermal biofeedback, each of which measures a particular physiological function (muscle activity, heart rate, and skin temperature, respectively)

What are the limitations of biofeedback?
While biofeedback may be helpful for certain conditions, its efficacy is less assured for others, such as high blood pressure. People with certain health conditions such as heart arrhythmia may not be able to benefit from biofeedback because their condition may interfere with the machines’ readings. Biofeedback can also be time-consuming and costly, and may not be covered by health insurance.
