I am a nationally certified master's level counselor with over 20 years of experience including, since 2014, volunteering with Tru Hospice facilitating grief groups. I offer counseling for issues related to loss and grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, self-esteem, self-empowerment, divorce , parenting, emotional, sexual and physical abuse, co-dependency, adult children of alcoholics, and adult children from dysfunctional families. With over 30 years experience as a therapist working to help individuals of all ages to overcome obstacles and deal with grief, loss, adversity, mental illness and trauma, I have developed an expertise in helping people to integrate the experiences that they encounter and reach a new level in their lives. I utilize play therapy techniques when working with children, as play is a powerful and therapeutic language for children.
