Greetings and thanks for exploring my counseling practice. While the majority of my clients are between the ages of 5 and 15, I also work with older kids and adults on their own issues, parenting practices, stress and anxiety management, and more. Whether you are looking for an empathic ear or concrete coping strategies for yourself or your child, I use a strength-based and person-centered approach to psychotherapy. My approach to therapy is creative and empowering. I support and guide young adults and adults struggling with addiction in overcoming barriers and finding solutions to their problems based on their inherent abilities, resources and skills. Together, we identify and change negative thoughts and behaviors which are preventing them from reaching overall wellness and personal growth. Then we work to develop a unique set of coping skills to help them effectively manage life challenges.

This systemic approach to therapy paves the way for greatest insight to be gained by those who really matter, allowing for symptom reduction and ultimately greater relational harmony.

I work with mental health, substance abuse, anger management and domestic violence both victims and reactive individuals. Some clients who have insurance or use self pay. You can receive credit for court ordered treatment. My focus is trauma and methods to stabilize individuals using techniques like EMDR. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years experience working with adolescents and adults.
