Besides struggling to sleep, they may battle thoughts of self harm, suicide, and/or self-loathing.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or PTSD? Do you feel emotionally stuck? Or do you feel like your emotions high-jack you? Have people told you they can't get close to you? Have you tried to live a full and meaningful life but find you need help to overcome something in your past? I would love to meet with you. My approach is to teach skills that can bring relief in the short term, while we work together to discover and heal the deeper roots of your emotional pain. I am certified in EMDR and trained in IFS but use whatever skill or technique is most effective for each client.

In my neurofeedback practice, I support children, teens, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, memory concerns, and emotional dysregulation.
I help clients process trauma, reduce distress, and better understand their internal experiences. I use EMDR and IFS alongside a client-centered approach to support insight, healing, and emotional balance. When appropriate, I also incorporate neurofeedback to help regulate the nervous system and support lasting change.

The therapeutic work I practice is grounded in a respect for the capacity of individuals to intuitively know where they are, where they want to be, and their resiliency and capacity for change. Sometimes that intuitive knowing is as simple as, not where I am now, or I find myself acting in ways I told myself I wouldn't or saying things to other's that hurt me when I was young. Sometimes it can be noticing things that work in some ways but also cause distress, such as substance use, isolation, or constant need for work or movement. And knowing and striving to feel more at ease and a better sense of well-being.
