I have a strong background working with all ages in trauma, ADHD, grief, anxiety, depression, and medical complexity.
We all want to feel our best but sometimes thriving includes support. Our experiences are what make us unique. I hear your stories, struggles, and successes and we identify how you'd like to evolve these experiences. I aim to create a warm, collaborative environment with clear goals that can be put into day-to-day practice. I want to see you flourish in your relationships and personal happiness. And I believe in a mind/body/soul approach to overall wellbeing and am honored to partner with individuals on this journey.

Life has a way of living in the body — in tight chests, racing thoughts, restless energy, numbness, or that feeling of being “on” all the time even when you're exhausted. Stress, trauma, grief, and constant doing can pull you away from your inner world, your intuition, and your sense of self. Therapy is a space to slow down, breathe again, and reconnect with what’s happening inside, not just what you're managing on the outside. At the same time, growth doesn’t have to be stiff or overly serious. I believe in making space for humor, creativity, and the real, imperfect, human parts of you.

I guide couples in working together on complex issues such as ADHD, infertility, parenting, parents and in-laws, work stress, and illness.
Does your relationship feel chaotic, even sometimes? Are you finding yourself in repeated cycles of fighting, arguing, anger, silence, hurt, and frustration? Do you feel like your partner is not dependable, not there for you, just doesn’t get it? Are you feeling alone, or like you’re “just done”? Do you miss those days of romance, intimacy, erotic adventures, and excitement? Are you no longer connecting with the reason you were attracted to each other? Your relationship today feels tumultuous, disruptive, and dysfunctional. You must be tired of the negativity and anger. You want peace, friendship, collaboration, and even some love!

You feel like your emotions control you, not the other way around. Maybe you grew up with parents who dismissed your feelings, made you feel like you were "too much," or left you walking on eggshells. Now, you struggle with guilt, setting boundaries, or trusting yourself. You don’t want to stay stuck in old patterns, but change feels overwhelming. I help adults untangle complicated emotions and family dynamics using trauma-informed DBT. Together, we’ll build the skills to regulate emotions, break unhealthy cycles, and create a life that feels like your own.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?

You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?

Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?

Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?

It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
