Starting with someone new can feel like “Ugh, I have to explain my whole life again
Instant scheduling available on my website! With 15+ years in mental health, I’ve learned that those who change most aren’t “broken”—they’re curious, ready to learn about themselves, and interested in trying something different. You don’t have to be falling apart to work with me. If you're ready to look at your patterns, experiment with new ways of relating, and collaborate with a co‑pilot rather than a distant expert, I'm your person. I work with individuals ready to go deeper and partners who care but feel stuck.

That’s when strategic marriage coaching matters.
Marriage counseling should strengthen a partnership, not leave men feeling blamed, analyzed, or ganged up on. Yet many leave sessions shut down, disengaged, or quietly checked out, and the distance grows. I work with high-functioning couples who want more than talk therapy. They want structure, clarity, and a husband-friendly approach to rebuilding connection, intimacy, and trust. If you’re having the same arguments week after week and getting nowhere, or you feel like roommates watching trust erode, this isn’t a motivation issue. It’s a structural one. If the foundation is cracked, don’t patch the drywall. Fix the foundation.

I am also trained in spiritually informed practices and may incorporate them when they support integration across body, mind, and emotional life.
“I work with people who are reflective, sensitive, and ready to engage change in a deeper, embodied way. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and somatic practitioner with a foundation in nature-based therapy and experiential approaches. My work emphasizes nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and self-trust. Many of my clients are highly sensitive or empathic and are seeking to feel more grounded, coherent, and at home in themselves as they move forward.

I aim to increase clients' awareness of their thoughts and behaviors and then find how they use this information to increase life satisfaction.
Accepting New Clients! My number one priority is for my clients to feel comfortable. I take a laid-back approach that is fairly directive yet very empathic. Psychoeducation and self-esteem work are major parts of my practice as I utilize these tools to empower my clients. I also focus on coping skills and the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors (CBT-focused). I like to be transparent with clients and increase their comfortability by letting my own personality shine through.

Trauma, stress, anxiety and adverse life experiences can, at times, derail us from being our “best”.
In my 12 years of direct clinical experience, I have worked with many clinical problems. I work with children (6-17), young adults (18-24), couples and families. I have extensive experience in the areas of anger management/emotional regulation, trauma, healthy dynamics of family functioning and transitional youth (choices made during this age span 18-24).

Traumatic life experiences can affect us in ways that are challenging to heal from, and those experiences can leave us feeling stuck and powerless to overcome.
Also, it is my belief that lasting change takes place in the context of relationship. I welcome your calls or email with any questions you may have.

I offer individual counseling, coaching, and couples coaching.
My clients are often emotionally aware people who still feel stuck in the same painful patterns. They may struggle with anxiety, people pleasing, overthinking, conflict avoidance, relationship disconnection, or feeling lost in the needs of others. Many are exhausted from trying to “keep the peace” while quietly disconnecting from themselves. My approach is warm, honest, direct, relational, and solution-focused. Together, we identify the patterns keeping you stuck and build practical tools for healthier communication, self-trust, emotional connection, and lasting change.

I offer a safe, life-giving space where you are heard and you are seen.
Do you feel that you and your partner are out-of-sync? Not on the same page? Disconnected, like they can’t understand you and you can't understand them? Are your fights becoming more frequent and getting worse? Is the shouting louder, the blaming nastier, and the silent treatment shutdowns lasting for days on end? I understand what you're feeling: the hopelessness, the helplessness, the soul-crushing rejection, the gnawing sense of shame and failure.

Others simply want a place to talk openly, reflect, and gain clarity about their life, relationships, or decisions.
My approach is collaborative and conversational. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine dialogue, where you can be honest, curious about yourself, and open to new ways of thinking. Together, we can explore what’s going on, make sense of your experiences, and find practical ways to move forward.

My idea clients are ones who show up, whether that just be an intake or continuing in therapy. The first step to better health is trying, and even the smallest steps matter. I hope by creating a safe space that respects each client's lifestyle, culture, and beliefs I can help each client feel comfortable enough to continue with their own therapy journey.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
